教学目标：

1.能够读懂有关喜爱的一天与课程的书信，并能够根据书信的内容回答问题。

2.能够根据本单元所学的单词及句型替换信件中的关键信息，并且可以写一封回信。

3.了解英文书信的格式。

教学重点：

能够读懂书信内容，并回答问题。

教学难点：

能够替换书信中的关键信息，写一封回信。

教学过程：

Step I Warming-up 1.Greetings. 2.Classroom assessment. Put the students into 4 groups, each group has a car. If your group is doing well, the car will move forward one step. The fastest car will be the winner, Step II Revision - 1 -

1.Reveal the subject. 2. Let’s spell the words: Chinese, music, English, science, art, computer class, maths, PE. 3. Ask and answer. What’s your favourite class?/animal?/day? My favourite …. What classes do you have on…? We have …. How many … classes in a week? There are seven days in a week. We have …classes a week. Step III Presentation 1.Mike went to a new school. He has new teachers and he has classes that he likes. He wants to tell all these to his friend Bill. What should he do? He choose to write a letter. 2.Look at the letter. Find out the difference between this letter and the Chinese letter. Introduction of English letter format. 3. Listen to the tape. 4. After listening to the tape, read the letter and answer the questions. Do it with each team. You should - 2 -

underline or circle the answer. 5.Let’s check the answer. 6. Read follow the tape and retell the letter. 7. Read the letter that I returned to Mike quickly and tick or cross. 8.
