一、教学目标

课文音频，PPT,简笔画。

四、教学过程

Step1.Lead in（导入）: A.Free talk: T:Hello everyone,Today let`s go to the zoo.There are so many animals in the zoo.Do you like animals?Then let`s sing a song about animals. 播放歌曲《old macdonald》

B：T：Today we will learn 《Lesson 3 is that a pig?》

Step2.学习新课：

A．进行第一个学习目标，出示目标Ⅰ：我能通过听音，练读的方式掌握课文读音。

1、T:Look,I can see five animals in the zoo,can you guess what`s this? S:It`s a……

用猜的方式一步一步完成简笔画，引出熊，兔子，老虎，小鹿，大象五个小动物。

2、出示五个动物头饰，把背面面向学生，学生只能看到动物轮廓。

T:Look,I have five pictures. what`s this?/Is this a dog? S:Yes/No. T:Yes it is./No it isn`t. 先教会学生答句，引出答句并板书。

T: Is this……?/Is that……? S:Yes, it is./No, it isn`t. T:Ok.let`t write it. 引出本科主题句并板书。

3、listen to the tape. 4、教师领读主题句并用头饰进行替换。

5、T:Now,read it by yourself and ask and answer with your friend,then read it in your group. 6、Show time.

各组按照准备的内容进行展示，发现问题师生要及时评价。

B．进行第二个学习目标，出示目标Ⅱ：我能用英语询问“这是……?/那是……?”。

1、T:Look,I have a big box.An apple in it,a banana in it,an orange in it,a pen,pencil and ruler in it,and this animal in it. 介绍完盒子里的物品后用手帕盖住。

T:Is this a pen? S:No, it isn`t. T:Is this a ……? S: Yes, it is. T:Like this, ask and answer with your friend. 学生开始互学，用自己身边的物品与同伴对话。主要练习Is this……?的用法。

各组按照准备的内容进行展示，发现问题师生要及时评价。

2、请一名学生上台在盒子中选物品

T: Is that……? S:Yes, it is./No, it isn`t. 教师在台下问学生手中的物品，主要练习Is that……?的用法。

Step3.Homework Ues the sentences”Is this……?/Is that……?”with your friend.
