This topic is mainly about stories. Ss should understand some brief and simple English stories and grasp the main themes of them. More important, they should learn how to use past simple regular verbs to tell a story according to time line. According to different stories, students can learn different culture and custom from all over the world, so that they can have more interest in learning English by stories.

II.Teaching aims 1. Knowledge aims: (1) To know some new words and phrases:.

hair, forest, decide, go for a walk, pick up……

(2) To know the past simple regular verbs, V-ed.

(3) To know the pronunciation of the past simple regular verbs, /t/, /d/, /id/

(4) To lead the Ss to use the linking words to join sentences into a story.
