一、教材分析

本模块以生活经历为话题，分设三个课时进行学习。本节课是这个模块中的第三课时，是一节复习课。在学习了马克吐温和莎士比亚的人生经历的基础上，学生已经能够运用过去时来介绍一个人的过去的经历，并且对西方的文化有了更多的了解和认识。作为模块的第三课，它在第一第二单元学习的基础上进行语言内容和语法项目的复习与巩固，并在此基础上在写作方面加以指导和提高。

二、教学目标

4．情感与态度目标

在教学过程中，学生们通过实践、参与有意义的各种形式的活动，体验与他人合作，共同完成学习任务的乐趣。在本课中，通过了解亲人的人生经历，更懂得关爱家人。通过对莎士比亚的资料阅读，培养对文学家的崇敬之情。

5．教学重点和难点

掌握一些动词过去式的不规则变化形式，熟练掌握和使用一般过去时讲述过去的经历。

三、教学设计

本节课是一节描述人生经历的复习应用课。在整个的教学设计中，主要采取的是“任务式的教学方式”，旨在指导学生独立自主地运用所学知识，带着任务去搜集资料，归纳总结，并通过合作来完成任务。由于学生对这个单元的话题和语法已经基本掌握，所以可以独立地进行归纳总结。并通过布置任务，让学生通过多种渠道查找资料，对著名人物，及其主要经历贡献有更丰富的认知，可以扩展学生的知识面，培养学生独立学习的能力，和对名人的敬仰之情。

四、教学过程

Step1.

Warm up 1)

Review some key words and the past tense according to the timeline of William Shakespeare. 2)

Watch a video about William Shakespeare’s hometown,and ask: where is it? 3)

Show them the passage in “Around the world”,and ask them to guess what questions I will ask them. 4)

Ask and answer about the passage, give them some key words：where,who,why.... （设计目标：通过莎士比亚生平复习关键词和时态，视频导入激发兴趣，自主问

Step2. Learn the life story of Deng Yaping. 1.Show them a picture of Deng Yaping, and ask:if you have a chance to interview her ,what question will you ask?

Eg: where were you born？/Did you tired?/ What other sports did you like?... 2.

Ask the students to drag the correct words to complete the passage in activity 4. 3.

Summarize the rules of the past simple:

regular verbs/ irregular verbs/pronunciation of “-ed”

(设计目的：自主问题的提问，激发思维，并感知动词过去式疑问句的正确使用；通过文章总结过去式的变化规则，便于学生理解。）

Step 3.Exercise. Complete the conversation with the correct form of the words in activity3. （设计目的：知识的展示后，适当的练习巩固可以帮助学习加强理解和记忆）

Step 4. Play a game.

Ask a girl and a boy to come to the blackboard and click the correct form of the past simple. (设计目的：通过希沃软件，设置合理恰当的游戏，既提高学生学习兴趣和参与率也提高复习使用知识点的有效率）

Step 5. Pair work. 1.

Ask them to compare Tang Xianzu with William Shakespeare. 2.

Them them our school has a play club ,and it will have a meeting to compare the two

great writers. “If you are invited to attend the meeting ,can you make a speech to introduce Tang Xianzu to the club members.

Remind them how to write a life story of a great person.It may include three

parts:brief introduction--life experience--comments. 4.

Give them some tips about the life story of Tang Xianzu. 5.

Ask the students to work in pairs to prepare the speech,and choose one to present in

the front. (设计目的：通过同类文章的迁移练习，既可以学习运用本单元重点词汇，也可以让学生们了解中国文化，激发他们的文化自信。）

Step 6. Summary

Summarize what we have learned in this class:
