Unit 2 My favourite season B Let’s talk

教学内容:PEP小学英语五年级下册《Unit2 My favourite season B Let’s talk》教学目标:
知识与技能:1、能听懂、会说句型:Which season do you like best? Why? Because I like summer vacation.并能在情景中运用。
2、能听懂Let’s try部分录音,完成听音选择正确图片的任务。过程与方法:1、通过创设情景来学习和操练新句型。
2、采用同桌合作、小组合作等方式增大学生的参与度和练习量。
3、设计形式多样的练习活动,拓展所学语言,引导在真实情景中运用所学语言。
情感态度与价值观:
1、培养学生热爱生活,热爱大自然的美好情感,教育学生合理利用假期。
2、培养学生的合作意识,让学生体验合作的愉快,培养学生的创造力和想象力。
教学重点:本课时需要重点掌握询问对方喜欢某个季节的原因及其应答的Why ? Because I …
教学难点:难点是because的理解与读音及vacation的读音。灵活运用句型Why? Because …

教学过程:
一、Warm-up and review
1、Free talk
How many seasons are there in a year?
What are they?
【设计意图:教师与学生互相问候,进行口语交际练习,促进学生不断运用所学语言,提高学生的口语表达能力,同时营造民主和谐的英语课堂。】
2、Listen to a song------The Four Seasons
【设计意图:通过欣赏歌曲,激发学生的兴趣,将学生自然引入到本单元的主题学习中。】
3、T: What’s the weather like in the four seasons?
Let’s chant:Spring, spring, warm and rainy.
Summer, summer, hot and sunny.
Autumn, autumn, cool and windy.
Winter, winter, cold and snowy.
T: What can you do in spring/summer/autumn/winter?
Ss: We can go on a picnic/go swimming/pick apples/make a snowman. 【设计意图:通过联系实际季节、图片和自编的chant复习四个季节,以及每个季节的天气和能做的活动。在复习旧知识的基础上为学习新知做好铺垫。】
4、T:Which season do you like best? Why?
Can you guess which season do I like best? Look at PPT shows.
Yes, I like summer best. Because I like summer vacation.
【设计意图:通过询问学生最爱的季节并说明原因,进而引导学生猜测老师最爱的季节,同时通过课件展示的图片给他们猜测的线索。不仅激发了学生的兴趣,而且更贴近学生心理,易引起共鸣。】
二、Presentation and practice
1、Let’s try
(1)The students are all draw pictures of seasons. Look, there are three pictures. What season is it? Zhang Peng draws his favourite season in one of these pictures. Can you guess which picture is Zheng Peng’s picture?
(2)Listen and tick.(Listen twice time.)
(3) Check the answer.
【设计意图:本环节创设了看图猜图的情景,再自然过渡到听力部分。让学生从听觉上感知句型,并且圈出所听到的图片,既提高学生的听力,又可以训练
学生的快速反应能力,为学习Let’s talk 打下基础。】
2、Let’s talk
Now Amy and Miss White are looking at Amy’s picture. They are talking about their favourite season.
(1)Listen first time, circle the words you don’t know.
(2)Listen again, and try to find---Which season does Amy like best? Why?
(3)Explain the passage.
(4)Teacher read the passage. Ask students to answer: What does Miss White like? Which season does Miss White like best? Why?
3、Read after teacher twice, then role play.
4、Group work. Pair works.
5、Affective education
Spring is green. Summer is hot. Fall is golden. Winter is white. Enjoy the seasons. Enjoy our life.
