Writing: How to write a letter of application

Step1:Before writing---Observing and discovering

假如你是李华，你从市博物馆网站得知博物馆正在招募兼职英语解说员（interpreter）。请你根据以下提示，给博物馆负责人Mr. Liu 写一封英文自荐信。

1.英语水平；2.历史知识；3.其他优势。

注意: 1. 词数100左右；

2.可适当增加细节，以使行文连贯。

Sample writing(参考范文): Dear Mr. Liu,

I'm Li Hua, a high school student in our city. I have learned on your website that you are looking for a part-time English interpreter. And I'm writing to apply for the position.

First of all, I have a good command of English and I can communicate with foreigners in English fluently. Besides, I'm quite familiar with the history and tradition of our city because I grew up here. Last but not least, as a kind, brave and outgoing girl, I can get along well with different people and make friends with them easily. I'm sure visitors will be satisfied with my service. I would be grateful if you could consider my application and offer me an opportunity. Looking forward to your reply.
