It is a good contrast to the previous reading text because Sherlock Holmes was operating before forensic science was an established science. He therefore had to solve crimes by observation and deduction. Sherlock Holmes was a fictional character in many stories written by Arthur Conan Doyle between 1887 and 1927. Sherlock

Homework Writing task: Find a detective story you are interested in and write a review of it. The purpose of a review is to give enough information about the story so that readers can decide whether they want to read it too.
Reflection after teaching The design of this lesson is based on the Task-based Learning Approach. The students play the leading part in every activity while the teacher is the guide and organizer. Make sure all the students will take a more active part in the tasks and become more confident. As a result, every student will raise their English level and improve their integrating abilities. But because of the time,I should have given the students much time to do guessing.
