Unit 6 Work quietly!

Part C Storytime 教学课例

授课教师:李晓如东莞市长安镇东安小学

一、目标依据

依据新课标,要求小学五年级学生能借助图片、图像、手势听懂简单的话语或录音材料;能听懂课堂活动中简单的提问;能听懂常用指令和要求并做出适当的反应;能在口头表达中做到发音清楚、语调基本达意;能按要求用简单的英语做游戏,能体会到英语学习的乐趣;在学习中集中注意力;敢于开口,表达中不怕出错误;积极参与各种课堂学习活动,积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。二、教材分析

这是本单元的第六课时。本课时是复习模块,综合性较强,课时含量较大,综合锻炼学生的听说读写能力,通过趣味性故事复习并拓展一般现在进行时。要求学生运用一般现在进行时来描述某人正在做某事,同时能对在某个情景下的描述做出提示或警示。

三、学情分析

本课时旨在对Unit 5 与Unit 6所学的知识点进行融汇贯通,学生能在具体情景中表述行为规范,。(本班学生兴趣度、课堂习惯、自制力、对基础单词和知识点的掌握程度、课堂氛围和学生的思想状况教师可根据实际情况分析。)

1. 复习本单元的重点单词和核心句型。

2.完成练习题和读懂故事部分。

3. 能在教师的帮助下总结现在进行时的结构和用法,并完成相应的练习。

1. 灵活运用本单元的重点单词和句型。

2. 能在理解文本的基础上,对课文进行复述,以达到学以致用的目的。

六、Teaching procedure

Step1 : Warm-up(5mins)

1.Free talk

Step 2:Presentation(19mins)

1.Listen to tape and finish exercise of page 64 Let’s check.

2. Finish exercise of page 64 Let’s wrap it up.

3. Learn Story time .

Guess

1).Show the picture 1 of gorilla. It’s so big and strong.

2). Look at the picture 2 and guess : What’s the gorilla doing?

3). Picture 3: What are Zoom and Zip doing?

4). Picture 4: What are they talking about the film?

5). Picture 5: What does the tiger says?

6).Picture 6: What is on the sign?

4. Listen and underline the sentences about rules

5. Listen and try to read the story

6. Listen again and free reading

7. Role play

Step 3. Consolidation(6mins)

1.Repeat the story .

Zoom and Zip are watching a film. It’s so exciting . The gorilla is great.What’s the gorilla donig? It’s eating. It’s so big and strong. Zoom and Zip are talking about the film. They should talk quietly. What’s that noise? Zoom is eating popcorn. Look at the sign. It says “Keep clean!”.
