T: Good ,you really know something about him.When You Are Old is one of his masterpieces. Today we are going to appreciate it. First I will read it for you, try to feel it. While listen, please think about the two questions. Who is this poem written for? And what does Yeats want to show in this poem? You ready. Ok Let’s begin.

T:People say poem is the singing of words. when reading this poem, do you think it sounds very beautiful? Ss: Yes.

T: Why does it sound so beautiful? Think about the words. S: Because it has rhyme. T: Yes very good. The rhyme. Can you find out the rhyme in the first stanza? S:... T: Good, sit down please. These words are called rhyming words. And it is the rhyming words that make the poem beautiful when reading it. T: So what about the second and third stanza? S:... S:...
