一．教材分析

本单元的中心话题为Communication Workshop，其中包括“如何根据个性选择合适的工作”

,”工作面试以及需要的注意事项和模拟面试”，“了解科技对未来工作的影响及对个人技能的要求”，“了解目前劳动力市场最具竞争力的雇员的性格特点”。本课是本单元的

Communication Workshop 部分，教学重点是：怎么才能写好一封求职信？认识到“天生我才必有用”，树立自信，根据自己的性格选择适合的工作。

二．学情分析

普通班的理科学生基础薄弱，词汇量少，语法知识不足，中式英文思维方式严重，作文夹杂汉化句子，所以进行当堂写作相当地困难。

三．教学内容

Teaching procedures Step1. Greeting and leading in Have students look at the heading for the advertisement and predict what sort of job it is advertising. The purpose is to let students think about these questions and show their ideas.

Step2. Pre-writing Before writing ,let’s look at some pictures,then read the advertisement and the letter . The purpose is to arise students’ interest and help the teacher introduce the topic of the class. Step3.While-writing 1.Skimming Students look at the underlined words and decide if they express addition,contrast or reason. The purpose

is to train students grasp some linking words such as because,since,due to. Pay attention to the fact that “because”and”since”

are followed by a clause while”due to” is followed by a noun. 2.Scanning Follow the stages below(stages1-4) Look back at the advertisement with the class and read out the four jobs being offered.Choose one of the jobs and think about why they are interested in the job and what they have done that is relevant to the job. Students then check their letters for mistakes . The purpose is to train students find out the letter of application about the details quickly. 3.

本节课在多媒体地辅助下，以直观的内容激发学生学习的兴趣，以课件展示，既节约了书写时间，还能安排更多的内容，能更加顺利地完成不同任务的设置，培养学生的写作技巧，教会学生更快更准的找到有效信息。但还存在一些不足，由于本节课任务多，容量大，导致完成任务时间较紧，今后需要加以改进。
