一、教学目标：

1. 在情景中，整体理解Story time内容。并能听懂、会说、会读故事中出现的词汇：take, station, walk, bookshop, along, ask the way, get to, get on/off, turn right/left, next to, traffic light, on your right/left. 2. 基于故事能听懂、会说、会读句型：How do I get to...? You can... Go along this street. Turn left/right at the traffic lights. You can see...on your right.并理解句型的意思。

3. 学会用整体略读、部分细读的方法快速获取语篇信息，并能借助图片或关键词对语篇进行结构把握。

4. 能尝试用第一人称复述去苏海家的路线。

5. 能够在理解的基础上流利地朗读课文。

6. 通过语篇的学习，培养学生助人为乐的良好品质。

二、教学重、难点：

1. 能听懂、会说、会读文中的词汇及与问路相关的句型。

2. 能以正确的语音语调朗读课文并能正确地理解课文。

3. 能够在理解课文的基础上复述去苏海家的路线。

五、教学过程：

Step1 Warming up 1. Free talk T: What day is it today?

What date is it today?

What’s the weather like today?

Where do you live? How do you come to school? Where does Su Hai live?

How does she come to school?

Why does she come to school by bus? S: Because she lives far from school. T: Su Hai’s new home is far from school. But it’s big and nice. So she likes it very much.

2. Lead in T: Today, Yang Ling wants to visit her new home. But she doesn’t know the way. What

should she do? S: She should ask the way. < ask the way > T: Yes, look. Yang Ling calls Su Hai. How does Yang Ling ask the way? And how does Su Hai show the way? Today, let’s learn Unit3 Asking the way.（揭题）

设计意图：简单的对话勾起学生对Su Hai新家的记忆，开门见山地导入主题，明确本课需要了解及解决的问题。

Step2 Presentation and practice 1. T: How does Yang Ling ask the way? Listen and answer.

S: How do I get to your home, Su Hai? < How do I get to your home, Su Hai? >

举例：How do I get to …?

T: How does Yang Ling get to Su Hai’s home? Su Hai will tell her on the phone. If you’re Su Hai, how to show the way? Think and choose

A: To tell her the tools of transportation, the important buildings, streets and roads. B: To tell her the distance between Su Hai’ home and Yang Ling’s home.

S: …

设计意图：明确如何为他人指路，指路的过程中需要注意些什么?为下文的学习做好铺垫工作。

2. T: Look, this is the map from Su Hai’ home to Yang Ling’s home. Which is the best way to get to Su Hai’s home?

S: Take the metro. T: How do you know that? S: 图片

T: You must be a good guide. This time, let’s watch and find the important buildings, streets and roads. Learn the words. < Park Station, City Library Station, Moon Street, bookshop > 3. T: There are so many important places on the way. What should Yang Ling do at these places? Read and find.

S: < get on > < get off > < walk to>

T: Look, she can take the metro. She can get on the metro at Park Station and get off at City Library Station. Then, walk to Moon Street.

T: What’s on Moon Street?

S: There’s a bookshop.

T: Where is Su Hai’s home?

S: It’s next to the bookshop.

T: How do you know that?

S: My home is next to it.

T: What does ‘it’ mean?

S: The bookshop. next to=beside 4. Read after the tape. 设计意图：抓住苏海画中的关键词、句，理清前往苏海新家的具体路线。从建筑物及重要街道开始，并明确在这些地方应该怎样做。

5. T: Now Yang Ling knows the way. She sets off at once. Can she find Su Hai’s home? Let’s listen and answer.

S: No, she can’t.

T: Why can’t she find Su Hai’s home? Read and find.

S: Because she is on Sun Street.

T: She is on Sun Street. And she can’t find Su Hai’s home. What should she do now?

S: She should ask the way.

T: Who does she ask for help?

S: A policeman.

T: How does she ask the way?

S: How do I get to…? How do I get to Su Hai’s home?

T: If you want to get somebody’s help, you should say politely. We can use ‘Excuse me’.

Excuse me, how do I get to the bookshop on Moon Street?

S: Read the sentence. 6. T: How does Yang Ling get to Su Hai’s home? The policeman tells her the best way. Can you show it on the map?

S: 在图上画出路线图。

T: Very good. You can show the way on the map. But how to tell Yang Ling? Now, please read the passage and choose the right sentences for these routes.

S: Go along this street. Turn right at the traffic lights. Then, go along Moon Street.

（根据路线逐个出现句子，并粘贴在图上。）

T: Where is the bookshop?

S: It’s on the right.

T: So Yang Ling can see the bookshop on her right. Now, can she find Su Hai’s home?

S: Yes, she can.

T: Why?

S: Because Su Hai’s home is next to the bookshop.

T: The policeman helps Yang Ling. What should Yang Ling say?

S: Thank you. 7. Read the passage. 设计意图：从地图可以看出杨玲到苏海家的行进路线，先让学生在图上标出，再明确如何指引他人，在此过程中学习重要词句。

8. Let’s review

Today, we have learned Unit3 Asking the way. We know Yang Ling wants to visit Su Hai’s new home. But she doesn’t know the way. So she asks Su Hai. Then, she goes to Su Hai’s home by metro. She gets on the metro at Park Station and gets off at City Library Station. She comes out from City Library Station. But she walks to the wrong street. She can’t find Su Hai’s home. She asks a policeman for help. Next, she walks along Sun Street. Turn right at the traffic lights. Then, go along Moon Street. Su Hai’s home is on her right.

Read and match P28 Step4 Production Look and say P28 T: Su Hai wants to know how Yang Ling gets to her home. Can you try to tell her? S: First, Yang Ling gets on the metro at park Station. Next, ... Then, She’s on Sun Street. She walks along...
