教材分析：

本课时教材内容是人教PEP五年级下册Useful expressions中Unit 2 My favourite season的重点句型整合拓展课程。本单元的主要话题：询问身边的人和身边的人问自己最喜欢哪个季节以及原因。这是一个学生生活中熟悉又真实的话题。本单元核心句型：Which season do you like best? Winter. Why? Because I like summer vacation. 在本节课之前，学生已经学习了季节、动词词组、形容天气的形容词，为本单元话题打下了基础，同时也是知识延伸和拓展。希望通过本课的学习，学生能综合运用本课知识并结合之前学习过的相关知识介绍自己喜欢的季节以及原因。

学情分析：

本课时的教学对象是五年级的学生。该年级学生已经具备了一定的英语知识和实际能力，乐于参与课堂活动。经过本单元的学习，掌握季节、动词词组、形容天气的形容词的用法，能运用本单元知识语言结合以前学习的知识描述自己喜欢的季节是什么并解释原因，但将这些知识联系实际生活并写作能力还有待提高。

教学分析：

1.知识目标：（1）复习整合拓展本单元关于季节的词、句和能做什么事的词组以及形容天气的形容词等相关的语言知识。（2）复习用I like ... best. Because I can/ like... Because there is/are...句型。

2.能力目标：能综合运用本单元词句，运用本单元的重点句型介绍自己最喜欢的季节以及原因。

3.情感目标：（1）引导学生关注每个季节的特点，包括天气如何、适合进行什么活动、周围能看到什么等。（2）培养学生的家庭、团队意识。

4.学习策略：积极运用所学的语言进行表达与交流，加强合作，共同完成学习任务。

5.教学重点，难点：引导学生运用本单元的重点句型，结合新旧知识，学会描述自己最喜欢的季节是什么，原因是什么。

教学过程：

一、Warm up

T：Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Miss Ho. T: How are you today? Ss: Fine, thank you. 二、Review 1. T: First, let’s sing a song together. 2. T: What a nice voice! Then let’s review the words together. Ss: OK, summer, winter, spring, autumn...

S1: I can make a snowman. S2: I can go skiing. S3:... 设计意图：利用图片，让学生猜测季节，同时激发起学生的好奇心，并在师生一问一答中进一步了解在某个季节的天气如何，可以做什么事，学以致用，让学生思考并学会结合新旧知识。

S2: Because there is/are ... . ... 设计意图：通过上述猜季节，了解在哪个季节做什么、天气如何后，进行一个概括性的问答，突出重点句型，为后面写作做好铺垫。

My favourite season Hi, I'm Miss Ho. I like spring best. Because the weather is warm. The colours are pretty. There are beautiful flowers everywhere. I often go on a picnic in the park. And I can watch the flowers with my family. (2)T: Children, can you introduce your favourite season like Miss Ho? Please try to do it in your group.

设计意图：此环节是先让学生猜测老师最喜欢的季节，引导学生思考，老师为什么喜欢这个季节，原因是什么，进一步让学生了解每个季节的特点。然后通过在句子中提取关键词让学生猜出老师最喜欢的季节，集中学生的注意力，学会思考后回答，接着教师再输出一整篇文段，让学生从前面的单词、句子、问答的顺序输出学生自己的一整篇文段。

设计意图：通过上面几个环节，让学生从复习单词，发散词组，复习重点句子，师生一问一答，到输出文段，这个时候学生对季节这个话题已经非常了解，并有了一定的知识储备，此时培养他们的写作能力，让学生输出写作已是水到渠成。
