一、教学目标

1、能听、说、读、写单词:September, ninth, October, tenth, Teachers` Day, National Day和短语go back to;能表达September(October) is the ninth (tenth) month of the year. 2、能表达出通过做某事表达对某人的爱,并应用于实际生活;

3、运用所学内容,介绍九月和十月的相关信息;

4、培养对祖国的热爱之情和报效祖国的情怀。

二、教学重难点

教学重点:1、理解并运用go back to这个短语;

2、能表达出通过做某事表达对某人的爱,并应用于实际生活

教学难点:运用所学内容,介绍九月和十月的相关信息

三、学情分析

学生在前面四个单课中已经学习了1-8月份的相关内容,对... is the ... month of the year.这个句型已经很熟悉了,并且能简单介绍1-8月份的相关内容,同时在学习5-6月份的课文中,已经接触过give sth. to sb. to show one`s love这个句型。本课是对月份学习的延续,课文中的两个节日都是中国的节日,学生在日常生活中比较熟悉,掌握了这些知识为本课的学习做好了铺垫。

四、教学过程

(一)导入环节

1.

T:Today let`s have a “ photos show ” . I like taking photos with my camera. Do you want to have a look?

以照片秀活动贯穿整节课

First, let`s play a game. I`ll show some nice photos about festivals. One student comes to the front and turn back. Other students talk about these festivals. Then that student will guess what it is.

(eg: American children can get some colourful eggs. ——

Easter)

当猜词的学生猜对后,教师引导学生一起说出:Thank you! Please go back to your seat. 猜节日游戏, 既复习旧知,又能让学生提前感知go back to 这个短语的含义。

T: Do you like these photos?

Sometimes I take a lot of beautiful photos with my camera in many places. Because I want to bring them and share with you together. 由标红的字母或字母组合发音合成两个新的单词September和October。

T: So today we will learn a new passage about September and October. (二)新授环节

1.

T: First, let`s learn the part of September. Read it by yourself and fill in the form.

Hints: (1) Read it loudly at the first time. (2) Read it silence at the

second time and circle the key words. (3) Talk about your answer. 2.

go back to: We know the summer holidays are in July and August. So in September the students will go back to school. (出示图片,引导说出go back to) (5)

show one`s love: T: I have some photos about how the students to show their love. Can you talk about them?

(让学生练习句型描述怎样表达对老师的爱

eg: The girls are singing and dancing to their teachers to show their love.)

T: I think all of you have your favourite teacher. So we can do something to the teachers to show our love. So how about you?

T: Now can you say something about September? (通过填表格的形式说说九月份) 4.

T: Now, let`s learn the part of October. Read it by yourself and fill in the form.

Hints: (1) Read it silence at the first time and circle the new words. (2) Watch the video and listen carefully. (3) Read it loudly at the second time and circle the key words. (4) Talk about your answer.

tenth : 用两组照片练习序数词

eg: Peter is the ninth boy. / Miss Zhou is the tenth teacher. (2)

National Day: 由invitation等词的读音,了解字母组合tion的发音

(三)练习环节

1.

选择不同的日期,回答里面的问题。

Group Work: Finish the mind map. (小组完成思维导图,这两个月份的其他节日,学生从刚才的微课中能记住几个就写几个) 3.

Talk about which month do you like about these two months. Why? (四)拓展环节

Group Work: Our happy and meaningful festival.

(让学生使用自己提前准备的一组照片,贴在粘贴板上,小组之间谈论自己选择的这个快乐而且有意义的节日,可以说它在哪个月份,几月几日,有什么活动,意义在哪儿等等,并进行小组展示)

最后老师总结:希望大家过有意义的节日,而不是盲目跟风。并表达老师觉得最有意义的节日是感恩节,引出下节课学习话题。

五、作业布置

1、Preview the next lesson.

3、Find out some other festivals in September or October. And try to talk about them.(三个赞)
