Welcome to Our Farm 一、Teaching goal 1.

Students can master the new words: farm、cow、horse、pig、sheep.

And the sentences: A: What animals do you have?

We have... B:Do you have...?

Yes, we do/No, we don’t 2.

Students can use what they have learned to ask the farm’s animals. 3.

Students should master the meaning and useful of “s”, like “pigs、cows…”

Teacher can guides Students to understand some knowledge about animals, and let them learn to share with others, cooperation with others and improve their study interests.

二、Teaching important and difficult points 5.

1.Students can master the new words: farm、cow、horse、pig、sheep.

Step 1 Warm-up 1.T:Class begin! Good morning, Class! Nice to meet you! Students: Good morning, Miss Liu! Nice to meet you ,too! 2.Sing a song T:Boys and girls ,let’s sing and do it together! 《One two three four》

one two three four ,clap your hands

one two three four, stamp your feet one two three four, nod your head,

one two three four, hands on knees. 2.

Teacher shows the farm picture, and introduces today’s lesson. T: I have a farm, and I want to share with you. Do you want to see?

OK, look here, it is my farm. Big and beautiful, right?

So, today, I will invite you to come to my farm. You can divide into two groups, boys are group one, girls are group two. OK? Let’s go!

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Teacher draws a farm on the blackboard ,and introduces the word “farm”. 2.

Base on the drawing, teacher guides students to learn animals words. (In this progress, teacher can use

different ways:

⑴Listen to the sound and learn this word; ⑵According to the actions and learn this word.

Teacher prepares a animal farm’s picture(picture 1), let Students play the farmer. Then ask her/him: what animals do you have?

(Write the sentence on the blackboard)

Guides them to answer: I have…

Emphasize the “s” after the words.

T: we know if there is only one thing, we can use “a”, but in my farm, I have many kinds of animals, so we should add “s”

after each word

Teacher shows another picture( picture 2.this picture lacks an animal) T:Do you have…? (Write the sentence on the blackboard) Guiding them to answer: Yes, I do. No, I don’t.

Step 3 Practice 1.

Guessing. Teacher shows a farm paper(picture 3)hold it, Student B’s eyes will be covered, and ask A about the farm’s animals: ——Do you have…? ——Yes, I do/No, I don’t . 2.

Perform. Let two students (a boy and a girl) to come to the stage, and combine the picture from the PPT to introduce the farm. 3.

Game One student do the animals’action , and another should guessing what it is(speak in English) Seeing which group guesses more at the same time. 4.

Sing a song together 《Old Macdonald Had a Farm》

Step 4 Assessment

According to the their performance, choose the best group.(which group get the more starts) T:OK!let’s congratulate the winner! another group don’t be sad, I think you can do better next time, right?

Step 5 Homework 1.

Introduce the animals to friends. 2.

Learn to use the sentences to ask others.
