Step2: Lead in

1. T: Do you know which animal is it?

Yes, it’s a tiger.

通过“听声音猜动物”的游戏猜出tiger,引出今天的生词。

依次引出其他四个动物单词

bear (draw a picture)

elephant (a riddle)

deer (a toy)

rabbit (a riddle)

2. A game: “What’s missing?”

出示tiger, bear, rabbit, deer, elephant五张卡片,任意拿走一张,让同学们说说少了什么。

(设计意图: 用多种方式引出这节课所学生词,并在游戏环节中巩固加深对这些词的印象.)

Step3: Presentation and practice

1. T: Is this a pig?

S: No, it isn’t.

T: Is this a tiger?

S: Yes, it is.

通过反复问答,操练这个句型。重点强调this 和一般疑问句的语调.

2. T: Look! What’s that?

Is that a bear?

S: Yes, it is.

T: Is that a deer?

S: No, it isn’t.
