第一课时
一、教材分析
本节内容选自上海教育出版社英语三年级(下)
,单元主要内容是围绕母亲节这个话题,能听、说、认读单词
flower 、photo、tea 。能够运用句型
What can I do for , ?进行提问。让学生通过参与、思考、讨论、交流与合作等方式,学习和使用英语,实
现目标任务。培养学生语言的运用能力及表达能力。
根据课程标准对本节课的要求,针对小学生的心理特点和认知水平,结合教材,
本着面向全体学生,基于学全面主动发展的原则,确定本节课的教学目标。
1 、能听、说、认读单词

3 、通过庆祝母亲节,增强对天下父母的爱戴,同时了解异国文化,拓展视野,
了解西方对传统节日的庆祝方式。

学生分析
学生在上节课已经学习了相关内容,对身体部位的表达也比较熟悉,已经掌握了
一定量的单词及描述身体特征的句型,所以本课的学习中课前可以让学生们回顾前面
所学,通过不同层次的活动使以往的知识得以巩固也可以融入到新课当中,促进完整
表达和输出。
二、教学目标:知识与技能
使学生运用所学知识把本节课的生活用语能够运用到实践当中,并且也能加强
口语的练习。
过程与方法
做游戏,学生分组进行情境表演,让其他同学猜一猜回顾学过的知识,并且能
够应用到下面即将要讲的新课中。
情感态度和价值观
1.通过庆祝母亲节,增强对天下父母的爱戴,同时了解异国文化,拓展视野,
了解西方对传统节日的庆祝方式。
2.加强师生,同学的交流。

七、教学过程
Pre-task preparations: Activity 1 Students enjoy a short movie and listen to the song
together. Activity 2 Free-talk: What can you do for Mum? While-task procedures: Activity 1 A whole presentation of learning content: Activity 1 Introduce the new words. Use the real flower to learn the new words: 1. a flower 2. a red flower 3. a beautiful red flower 4. two flowers Learn the new words, in the meantime, the
students can review the colour they have learnt in Unit 1. Then play a game called up and down to consolidate the new word. Activity 2 Ask students to listen to the tape for the illustrated conversation and read loudly together. After that, let students read in group and read in pairs in different roles. In this way, they can learn the new sentences well. Dialogue content: It s’Mother s’Day. What can I do for Mum
Ah! I have a good idea. A flower and a card. Mum, I love you. Happy Mother s Day! ’
Activity 3 Ask students to think about other ideas which they can surprise their mum on Mother ’Day and let them
discuss in pairs. Then teacher give different phrases to express the things they can do on Mother‘s Day:
Sing a song, make cards, water plants and so on. Activity 4 Use the phrases to make a dialogue to practice the knowledge and know how to express in the daily life . A: Mother s’
day is coming soon. What can you
do for mum? B: Ah! I have a good idea? I can give mum .. How about you? A: I can make a card for my mum. I love my mum! Post-task activities: Activity 1 Show Ss a moving movie to let them feel the love from their mother and father,
which can make them love their family more. Besides, after this class, I hope the students can take real action to express their love for their parents. Activity 2 Try to make a card for their Mum and write some words on the card, which can be given to their mum on Mother’s Day to show their love.
