学情分析
班级大部分学生对英语学习很有兴趣,课堂能积极发言。但也有一部分学生,学习习惯比较差,英语学习基础比较弱,思维不够活跃。形状这一话题孩子们是第一次接触,且有关形状的词汇相对较难。大部分学生对I have…句型有一定的初步感知,并能正确回答:How many...? What is it?等这样的特殊疑问句。因此可适当渗透了本单元listen and enjoy 中的非核心句型It has…sides and…angles。

主体学习文本:
The three little pigs have some shapes. They want to make a new house.
Mum: Peter, what shape is it? Peter: It is a rectangle.
Look! I have a big rectangle. I can make a wall. How cool! Mum: Danny, what shape is it? Danny: It is a triangle.
Wow! I have a big triangle. I can make a roof. How cool! Mum: Tom, what shape is it? Tom: It is a square.
Ooh! I have two squares. I can make two windows.
How cool! Pigs: Look! We have a house now. But we don’t have a door.
