Teaching Procedures Step Ⅰ Greetings

Greet the students as usual. Step Ⅱ Presentation

Give Ss a question to start the lesson. Then get Ss list some information they want to know. (Part 1) Next, show where China is on the map of the world. Get Ss know the location of China. At last, show pictures to Ss and get them to know more about China. （Draw a map of China on the Bb）

Step Ⅲ Listening Practice First, listen and fill in the blanks. Then, read the conversation together and role-play it. Finally, fill in the mind map and make a report. Step Ⅳ Part 2 Show other things to Ss. And get them finish the tasks. T: What else do you know about China?... Show pictures to Ss. Then get them to say out the sentences. Show more information to Ss.

Do match work. Get one student to do it on the Bb. Then check the answers. Ask Ss to read the sentences together. Step Ⅴ Interview Get a student as a reporter and interview his or her partner some information about China. Reporter: What do you know about China? S: China is a big country. The capital city of China is Beijing. R: What language do people speak in China?

S: We speak Chinese. R: what else do you know about China? …

Step Ⅵ More information Show more information about China that isn’t mentioned on the book. Such as the Yangtze river, the Yellow river, the traditional festivals and the tradition food. （Game）

Step Ⅶ Summary Make a summary and get each student to say a sentence to introduce China. Step Ⅷ Groupwork Ss work in groups to make posters to show how much they know about China. Each student says one or two sentences. Then show a whole poster to us. Step Ⅸ

Enjoy a video. Then get Ss say “We love China!”

教学反思：

单元及课文分析：

本单元的主要内容是谈论中国以及一些以英语为母语的国家的概况。旨在通过听力、对话练习、讨论、游戏等活动形式帮助学生了解几个以英语为第一语言的国家的地理位置、国旗、标志性建筑物、特有动物、自然景观等主要情况。本单元的写作任务是能用简短的语言介绍本国的国家概况。

一、

反思教学内容：

本节课是一节新授课，通过学习，学生能够理解、运用和识记新单词language, capital, palace, lovely.本课话题是China, 孩子们很熟悉中国的概况，因此会有很大的兴趣，并且在回答问题上很积极。在对话的练习系上，孩子们通过两两对话，锻炼英语口语能力，并且互相检查出现的错误。在最后一个活动，制作海报并且做report，孩子们学习描述我们的祖国的各种情况，增强他们的爱国热情。

反思教学过程：

从一首《国家》引入本课，吸引孩子的注意力，让孩子们有一种亲切感，用我们熟悉的地理位置以及语言，让孩子们轻松的进入到课文中，用提问的形式贯穿整个教学，启发学生，让他们能够积极思考。之后的环节比较紧凑，通过听力、对话、跟读、采访、游戏以及小组合作学习，层层递进，一点点加大难度，但是因为每一步的铺垫，孩子们学习新课的压力没有那么大，反而兴趣更浓厚了。

反思教学效果：

运用多媒体手段，手绘中国地图，并且在相应的位置上做标注，手绘长江黄河，都能够提高学生学习的兴趣，吸引孩子的注意力。

为了达到教学目标，我将标志性建筑物用图片的形式呈现，直观并且给孩子们的印象也深刻，便于记忆，在连线活动

中，融入游戏，力求知识和趣味性相统一，努力使课堂“活”起来，让学生“动”起来，使学生在有限的时间里掌握重点，突破难点，学到更多东西。

在小组合作学习中，让学生不仅仅能够说出句子，还可以用彩色图片的形式介绍中国，图文并茂，更加符合一张海报的形式。

3、

课堂形式多样，学生参与的热情非常高涨，参与率很高，效果很好，尤其是在小组合作学习中，孩子们描述的很到位，即使有一些细小的语法错误，但是不影响听众的理解。

4、

通过视频的导入和结尾，让孩子们感受伟大祖国近年来的成就，增强他们的爱国情怀。

四、

存在的不足：

1、在本堂课的教学中，在对一些不太积极的学生的学法指导上，有所欠缺，有纠正孩子的错误，但是不够彻底。对于一些不太积极的孩子，应该以表扬、鼓励的形式调动他们的积极性。在这方面以后要多注意。

2、作业的布置，没有分层布置，比较笼统。

3、激励性的语言缺乏多样性。纠错时应面向全体学生。

五、改进的措施

在今后的教学中，要关注全体学生的发展，要多关注程度较弱的孩子，多鼓励表扬，充分调动他们的积极性，让他们敢开口，并且乐于用英语表达。创设各种情境，创造各种学习活动，

促进学生互相学习，互相帮忙，发展合作精神。
