本课时前，学生已掌握了关于颜色、大小等的形容词，也学习过了It is… It can…的句型. 教学目标：

1. 学习并掌握butterfly, bee, ant, ladybird；

2. 学习表示昆虫能力的词组：carry food, make honey及描述昆虫的单词：strong, cute, busy, beautiful；

3. 初步了解昆虫的基本特征, 并能用英语对它们的基本特征进行描述；

4. 在情境中巩固、运用核心句型It’s a/an…；It’s…；It can…

5. 在故事情境中培养学生观察能力，激发学生热爱昆虫、热爱大自然的情感。

以儿歌对新授进行简单机械操练。

糖宝不能变成ant，所以它继续探索，过渡到ladybird教学。
