Step1. Pre-reading Free- talking Do you like drawing ? What do you like drawing?

Step 2. While- reading 1.

Show a picture, and asks the question: Who is she? Guess ,what’s is she doing ?

Read the text by yourselves, then answer the question. (Show the contents about the first paragraph, lead to repeat) 2. How long does Ann draw? (Underline the key words) 3.Why does Ann draw the picture ? (Underline the key words) 4.Teacher call sb. to write down the key words on blackboard. Students retell together , then by themselves, at last call sb. to retell.

Step 3. Post-reading Teacher shows an ending about the text like this:

Now it’s seven o’clock. Ann is still sitting at

her desk. Her mother comes in again and says “ Oh, Ann . Are you OK?” “I’m OK, Mum! What

about my picture?” “ It’s beautiful , Ann.”

Step 4. Homework Write the ending about the text like that.
