He's going to read books. Teaching points: 1. Ask students to understand the basic concept, structure and the use of the simple future tense. 2.The students can use the words and phrases they have learned to talk. 3.The students should master the different usage of 'be going to do' in the first person and the third person. Play the chant of this unit and ask students to chant together. Lead in:

From the chant to review the new phrases about after school

activities to lead in the topic of the unit.

Review:

1.The teacher show the pictures of the phrases they have already

learned in this unit and ask students to say the phrases very quickly. 2.The teacher do the action and the students say the phrases very quickly. 3.Use the game mimisays to read the phrases. 4.Show other activities that they have learned before on the PPT.

Ask one student to do the action, the other to guess. Presentation: T: Look at the screen, who are they? S: They are Yaoyao and Binbin T: What are they talking about? Let's listen.

Write down the key pattern on the blackboard and tell students the meaning of the phrase 'be going to'. It represent the simple future tense. the 'be' in the 'be going to' should change according to the subject. If the subject is 'I' the 'be' should be 'am'. If the subject is 'You' the 'be 'should be 'are'. If the subject is 'he, she, it' the 'be' should be 'is'. If the subject is a girl, we can use she to replace it. If the subject is a boy, we can use he to replace it. When we ask with 'be going to'. We should answer with 'be going to'. Practice: 1.Do the role play: Boys are Binbin, Girls are Yaoyao. 2.Ask 4 students to work in a group to practice the dialogue on
