Warm up 1.

Greetings.

T: What day is it today?

What do you often do on the weekend? 2.

Guess the story. ( T act out the stories and let Ss guess them. The stories are Snow White and The three little pigs.) Step 2. Presentation 1.

 From Monday to Wednesday, Zip collects nuts in the afternoon.

( Teach: collect nuts. Listen and repeat Part 2. Ss try to say: I’m a crocodile. I collect...... I’m a snake. I collect......)  On Thursday, Zip dries nuts in the sun. ( Teach: dry nuts in the sun. Listen and repeat Part 3. Ss try to say: In Changxing, we can dry...) 

On Friday, Zip eats nuts with her friends. ( Teach: eat nuts. Listen and repeat Part 4.) ④

On the weekend, Zip often watches TV. This weekend, she has a show, she’ll play the pipa.

4. Present Part 6 of the story. (1) T: When is the show? Ss answer : It’s on Saturday at 12 o’clock. (2)T: Why does Zip say:“Oh, no”? Why is Zip in a hurry? ( Get Ss look at the picture carefully and find theanswer.)

Ss：Because It’s 11:30 now. Zip is going to be late. (3)

Ss guess if Zip is late or not and how about the show.

-- I guess Zip is not late. The show is great.
