Story time教学设计(第一课时)

Unit1 Cinderella(Story time) 教学目标：

1. 学生理解文章大意与人物情感变化；

2. 学生听懂、会说、会读、会写句型：Why…? Because …?并理解句型的意思；

3. 学生能流利地、有感情地朗读故事并表演；

4. 学生对童话故事有更浓厚的兴趣。

教学重难点：

在学习故事的过程中理解词汇及句型Why…? Because …；

能以正确的语音语调朗读故事，合作表演故事。

教学过程：

Step1: Warming-up 1.

T: Do you have a good time at Chinese New Year?

T: What do you do at Chinese New Year? (引导学生说出read books/stories，然后教fairy tale)

T:Which fairy tale do you like? ( Then introduce Cinderella to Ss.

Teach: Cinderella Introduce the Brothers Grimm) Step2:Story time 1.

Characters

Introduce Cinderella’s families and lead Ss to read the sentences from the story by asking two questions: Do they love Cinderella? What do they say? And Ss can experience the emotion and know about the characters.

Then introduce the prince and the fairy to Ss and teach “prince” and “fairy”( “hair”) 2.

Story time 1)

The first picture

Present a picture of the prince’s house and the first sentence. Then, ask Ss why Cinderella can’t go to the party.( Teach: Why...? )

Ask Ss about Cinderella’s feeling: “How does Cinderella feel?”

The second picture

Ss watch the video and answer two questions:

“Why can’t Cinderella go to the party?” and “Who helps Cinderella?”.( Teach: Because... .)

Ask Ss about Cinderella’s feeling: “How does Cinderella feel?”

Ss read after the tape and imitate its tune and tone. 3)

The third picture

Ss listen to the tape and answer “ What else does the fairy say?”

( Teach: before, put on, take off)

Ask Ss about Cinderella’s feeling: “How does Cinderella feel?”

Ss read after the tape. 4)

The fourth and the fifth picture

Asking Ss to read the paragraph on their own and answer the question “Does she want to go home?”. (Teach: have to) Ask Ss about Cinderella’s feeling: “How does Cinderella feel?”

Read after the tape. 5)

The sixth picture

Read the paragraph and answer the question “Does Cinderella try on the shoe at first?”

(Teach: try on) Ask Ss about Cinderella’s feeling: “How does Cinderella feel?”

Read after the tape and imitate the tune and tone. 3.

Read and match

Ss read the sentences and match them with responding pictures. 4.

Let’s act

SS work in groups and choose one or two pictures to act. Step3: Homework 1.

Read the story 2.
