教学内容分析（Analysis of the teaching material）：This is the first learning part of words, students have known some expressions of school things, so they will learn more

expressions of classroom things from this class, and their abilities of comprehensive language application

can be improved . 

学生分析（Analysis of the students）：The students in Grade 4 have learnt English for one year ,they’ve mastered some simple words and sentences, but they sill lack some learning strategies and methods, at the same time ,their vocabularies need increasing . 

教学目标(Teaching aims) 1)

知识目标(Knowledge Objectives)：Students can listen ,say, read and write the following words : light ,door ,picture ,window, blackboard, classroom. Students can understand and use the sentences: what’s in the classroom ? Where is it ?

能力目标(Ability Objectives)：Students can use these words and sentences to ask and answer the name of things in the classroom and its place in their daily life properly. 3)

情感目标(Moral Objectives)：Students increase their interests in English learning and be confident in language learning . 

教学重难点(Key points and difficult points):

Key points: Students can use the words and the sentence structures to express themselves. 2)

Difficult points: The pronunciation of the new words and to apply what they’ve learnt into daily life . 

教学过程(Teaching procedure)：

热身准备（Warming –up）: Activities: Mutual greetings and lively songs

T:Hello,boys and girls, how are you feeling today ? Students: I’m fine ,thank you ,and you? T:Very well, thanks .Now,let’s sing a song , “In the classroom” Ss: ……

Design aim: To make the relationship between the teacher and students closer . Students can get back into class quickly and they can feel a relaxing and active atmosphere

呈现与操练（Presentation and practice）：

Activities: With the help of word building, teacher guides them to learn new words: classroom and blackboard. With the teaching cards ,to introduce the other four words .

T:Do you still remember the word “class”

and “room”? Ss : yes.课程、房间

T：Quite right. Classroom is a room that used for the class . Now can you tell me

the Chinese meaning of the word “classroom”? Ss : 教室

T：Ok , well done ,now read after me ……

T:Well, now class ,please look at this picture ,and tell me where it is . Ss: 教室

T:Bingo ,but how can we say it in English ? Ss : Classroom. Design aim: With the help of pictures and meanings in real life ,students can understand and master the new words fast .According to this method, teach them one by one . 3)

巩固(Consolidation)：

Activities: Read these words one by one ,listen to the tape and try to imitate. Play a game called “Big sound and small sound” to practise the words, including their pronunciations ，

meanings and writings.

Design aim: Let students master the words and sentences step by step by doing a series of activities as well as inspiring their interests in learning. 4)

小结与作业(Summing up and homework)：

Activities: The teacher gives the class summaries and arrange homework.(Ask ss to write the six word into their exercise books, and try to make a dialogue by using these words and sentences.) Design aim: To help them form a systematic knowledge framework and lay foundations for the next class . 5)

教学反思(Teaching reflections)：Apart from teaching the new lesson , the teacher can guide students to review the learnt knowledge. Let students be more interested in the learning and tell them the differences between Chinese culture and Western culture .
