Unit 3 My friends
ⅠBackground Information Students are in the first term of grade 4. They’ve learned English for about one year. The class is very active. In third grade, they learned “What’s your name?” and the answer. They are used to the adjective “fat, thin, tall and so on.”
Lesson duration: 40 minutes

(2) Students’ ability of listening, reading and speaking can be improved with the help of English songs. 3. Emotion aims Students are taught to learn English from the life, apply the English words and patterns to the communication. They will feel the joy of English learning if they can communicate in English well. The successful experience arouses their interests in English learning.
