Lesson 29 一．教学分析：

（一）教学内容分析：本课主要学习11月、12月以及感恩节、圣诞节的相关内容及表达。本课是第五单元的第五课时，学生在第四单元和第五单元的前四课时学习掌握了1-10月份、第一到第十以及相关节日等相关句子表达的基础上再学习本课不会太困难。本课时的内容贴近学生的生活，是学生们喜欢的话题之一，利于学生进行交流。结合本课内容，让学生了解本单元涉及的中西方文化节日和习俗。

（二）教学对象分析：六年级学生已经拥有了主动学习的能力，英语学习能力也在逐步提升，但是学生的能力还是有一定差异、部分学生学习习惯不好，这就需要教师通过浅显易懂、重难点层次分明的教学设计来引导学生，充分调动学生的积极性和探索欲，达到良好的学习效果。

二．教学目标

1.能学会11月、12月的英文表达，能够简单询问和表达11月、12月中的节日和活动，如感恩节和圣诞节。

2.能听、说、读、写以下词语和句子：Thanksgiving，

Christmas，November is the eleventh month of the year.

December is the twelfth and last month of the year. 3.通过观看感恩节和圣诞节的视频，了解了西方节日习俗同时培养了学生的观察能力。

4.通过学习课文，能在真实语境中运用句子，提高学生的听说能力和

交际能力。

5.通过了解中西方文化的差异，加强对中国传统节日的了解，升华到热爱祖国的情感中来。

三．教学重难点

教学重点：学习11月、12月的表达，以及相应节日的表达，并用句子能够复述。

教学难点：学习西方文化习俗，了解、学习西方文化知识，让学生在真实的语境中进行交流。

五．教学过程

Step one: Warm up Show them an apple tree and then pick apples. Each apple has a month in it. Read the month loudly after picking one apple. Ask the students which month they like best and then lead in which month the teacher likes best. T: Here is an apple tree and now let’s pick apples. The first one is... S: January. T: The second is ... S: February T: ... (until the tenth one, October) T: Which month do you like best?

S: I like January best... T:Can you guess which month I like best? (设计意图：通过设置摘苹果的游戏，让学生复习了1-10月的表达，创设了一个轻松愉快的复习氛围，然后提问which month do you like best? 让学生回答，设置让学生猜测教师最喜欢的月份，这样增加了趣味性和神秘感，充分调动起了学生的热情，自然引入November进入主题。) Step two: Presentation 1.

The students guess which month the teacher likes best. Then the teacher tells them the favourite month is November. S: April? T: No. S: October? T:No. ... T: I like November best.

th) ②tell students there is a big day in America and make them guess what festival is in November. Then show them some pictures about this festival. The teacher uses some phrases and sentences to talk about this festival so that the students can use the phrases later. (设计意图：通过展示图片的形式让学生感知感恩节的文化习俗，自然地使用感恩节相关短语，为语言运用打下扎实的基础，丰富学生的语言，为学生创作尽可能多的机会练习。) 3.

Then let them listen Part 1, and find out which festival is in November. And the students can say “Thanksgiving ” freely. Then watch a video of Thanksgiving and make them know more about Thanksgiving.

(设计意图：听第一段课文让学生带着问题去找出十一月的节日，学生们能够自然地找出感恩节的日期。再通过听第二遍，找出感恩节的日期，让课文变得“活起来”。感恩节的视频采用了一首很有画面感的歌曲，让学生们了解感恩节文化和习俗，让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中学习，增加了学习的趣味性，这样学生能够更加深入地了解感恩节。) 4.

Let them work in pairs to talk more about Thanksgiving. (设计意图：两人一组讨论感恩节，学生能够通过板书将对话自然地说出来，在这里更要鼓励学生使用他们自己想说的句子，开拓学生的综合语言能力，让学生在互相监督和合作中体会学习的乐趣。) 5.

Play the game: Last and next. The teacher shows them a month, the

students say the last and next month of it. For example, the teacher shows April, the students should say, March and May. (设计意图：课堂时间快要过半，在此设置一个游戏，这个游戏需要学生们高度集中，说上一个月和下一个月，充分练习了学生的反应能力。既活跃了课堂氛围，重新调动了学生的积极性，又复习了月份的表达，并且最后一个月份设置的是11月，自然地引入了11月的下一个月是12月。) 6.

①Tell them the next month of November is December. The teacher can use the way of learning pronunciation. No changes into De and v changes into c. The students read December and the teacher shows the calendar of December. It’s the twelfth and last month of the year. And show the changing form of twelve to twelfth.

(设计意图：自然引入11月的下一个月，12月。利用发音的变化演示12月份的变化，更加形象，有助于学生记忆。再出示12月份的日历，引出the twelfth and last month of the year.在这里，我先出示了基数词twelve，在此基础上，替换了ve变f, 再加th。让学生理解序数词12 不规则变化。再引入12月份的节日，圣诞节。) 7.

Listen to a song about Christmas and make them learn something about Christmas. After Listening to a song , the teacher introduces the

customs on Christmas and let them see some pictures. And lead in the new words and phrases of Santa Claus and presents. Then listen to the tape and talk about Christmas in pairs and then show in class.

(设计意图：利用圣诞节歌曲这一熟悉的旋律，让学生们轻松愉悦的感知圣诞节的习俗和文化，展示圣诞节图片，给予学生直观的画面感，加深印象。最后引入生词，Santa Claus 和presents以及圣诞节的相关短语。让充满神秘感的圣诞老人也降临到课堂。听课本听力，自然地在听和读中完成段落学习。）

Let’s have a free talk. Talk about the text in Lesson 29 and the students can talk everything they know about November and December. The teacher can lead in the weather and activities and so on. (设计意图：让学生在课堂上对课文进行发问和总结，这不仅锻炼了

他们的总结能力，还能提高学生们的自主学习能力，有了一定的语言基础，他们能够谈论更多关于11月和12月的话题，如天气，活动等等。) Step four: Extension

①The teacher tells them, “we have just learned Thanksgiving and Christmas. Do you know other festivals?” Let’s listen and guess. There is a song about one festival in each box. After listening it , the students can answer which festival it is. ②The teacher tells them some of them are western festivals, like Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Some of them are Chinese festivals, like Spring Festival, Mid-autumn Day and so on. Ang ask them which festival is your favourite. Then tell them, “I love Chinese festival best. So I love China.”

(设计意图：利用开宝箱听歌的环节，既在优美的旋律中复习了节日的表达，又为升华主题做了铺垫,引出我们要爱我们的祖国，了解中国的传统节日文化。) Step five: Homework 1.Talk about Thanksgiving and Christmas and then fill in the blanks.

本课教学对象是六年级的小学生，思考到学生掌握了一定的英语能力，课堂中有复习旧知，学习新知，还有拓展活动，各个过程环节紧凑，利用摘苹果树复习1-10月，自然引入，努力为学生创设一种学习情景，让学生在一种宽松，民主，和谐的氛围中学习新句型，单词，了解外国文化和节日习俗。在组织课堂教学时，我始终采用英语，让学生完全沉浸在一种英语学习氛围中，同时也以这种氛围感染每一位学生，大胆开口说英语。在课堂教学中，我始终坚持面向全体学生，争取让所有同学都能参与进来，保持良好的学习积极性，激发学生的学习兴趣，为学生全面发展和终身生展奠定基础。鼓励学生，透过体验、实践、合作、探究等方式，发展听、说、读、写的综合潜力；为

学生提供自主学习和交流的机会，以及充分表现和自我发展的一个空间，让学生大胆发言。把英语教学与情态有机会结合起来，创设各种合作学习活动，促进学生互相学习，互相帮忙，体验成就感，发展合作精神，了解中西方文化差异，开拓学生的眼界，带给学生视觉和心灵的体验。

我在精心准备本课的内容的前提下，还是有一些不足的，这也是今后我继续努力改进的方向和前进的动力。教师和学生间的交流还不够深入，教师指导性语言过多，问答环节应多让学生问答；虽然我鼓励学生积极回答问题，但是还是有一些同学没有真正主动参与进来，今后我要多关注学习有困难的或性格内向的学生，尽可能的为他们创造语言的机会。作为一名英语教师，我更应多学习先进的教学理念，更新知识，在教学中充分发挥主导作用，精心设计课堂教学，优化教法，提高自身的英语语言水平，关注学生、尊重学生、鼓励学生，建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道，互相鼓励和帮忙，做到教学相长。
