本册书共设计8个单元和2个综合实践项目（project）。每个单元由八个板块组成，与四年级相比，减掉rhyme time，新增grammar time 和culture time。主要板块及其功能如下： Story time 使学生在真实语境中体验语言，发展与人交流能力。同时发展思维能力提高综合人文素养。 Grammar time主要是帮助学生理解、初步掌握相关语法知识。Fun time、Song 教time中常以Play a game/Do a survey/Sing a song/Say a rhyme等通过做游戏，诵童谣、材唱歌、调查等活动进一步巩固所学内容，培养听说和思维等能力。Sound time帮助学生了解简time中呈现中外文化差异。析

字母和字母组合在单词中基本读音，逐步掌握拼读规则。Culture Cartoon time通过情景对话，着重训练听说技能，提高会话能力；同时呈现新的词语、句型、功能和话题等。Check time、ticking time中以 Look and say/Ask and answer/Work in pairs等是以图为主，并提供了主要句型的板块，旨在通过比较真实的语言情境，用滚动的方法操练本单元内容以及其它学过的内容。

教学措1、

课堂上尽量使用英语组织教学，做到持之以恒，由少积多，以助于创造英语气氛，养成学生听英语，用英语思维的习惯。

根据学生的特征，可将每个单元，该单元的教学内容重新组合，科学合理的把单词教学，对话操练，复习巩固融为一体。

多以图片、手势呈现英语单词及对话情景，图片呈现采用灵活多样的方法将该单元所学

的内容柔和在一起进行综合操练。如师生快速问候和介绍、学生间连续的相互问候和介绍，创设情景进行表演等，让学生将所学的对话用于不同的情景。采用先听说，后读写，先整体，后局部的方法教学。

在课堂教学中，尽量开展形式多样的活动教学，活跃气氛提高兴趣和学习效率。

5、

词汇教学上，尽量利用实物和图片，增加复现次数，反复循环，循序渐进，注重师生操练、生生操练。

6、

逐步渗透任务型教学，培养学生活用英语，用英语完成任务的本领。
