四、教学过程:
(一) Warm up and lead-in
1、Say a chant
2、Game: Guess
通过听声音猜是哪种动物
(二)New Lesson
1.教师出示图片There is a dog/duck/……camel. (Learn the new words: camel) Teacher points to the picture and says: There is a……. Let the children practice the sentences
Teacher points to two same animals and says
There are two……. 学生练习句子
Write the two sentences on the boards and find out the difference between the two sentences. 继续出示图片(learn new words: stone animals),反复练习:
There is a……. / There are……
2. 学习对话
T: Now we’re having a good time at the zoo. But what about Sam and Amy? Where are they? And what are they doing? Let’s watch the video. Watch the video of the dialogue for the first time. Teacher asks question:
1. Where are they? (Learn the new expression: The Ming Tombs) 2. What are there? (There are stone animals.)
T: What are they doing in the Ming Tombs? Let’s watch the video again.
Watch the video the second time and answer: 3. How many stone animals are there?
4. Is there a monster? 3. Listen and circle:

4. Listen, point and repeat the dialogue
Act out the dialogue. First practice in groups .
Then give each section a role in the conversation, either Amy, Sam, mum, dad. Act out the dialogue, with each group saying the corresponding text. (三)Consolidation
