一、教学目标：

1、知识目标：

学生能听懂对他人外貌的描述。

能认读描述他人外貌的特征的句子。

能运用“What

…

like ?”询问他人的样子，并用

“He/She/It has

got

…

.”简单地描述有关人物外貌的特点。

在描述他人的外貌的过程中，能用上颜色和“big”，“small”等表现人体部位的特征。

能表达自己对他人外貌特征的看法。

2、能力目标：

能结合创设的情景，习得目标语言，并运用所学的语言；

培养学生认真观察，仔细聆听，大胆模仿的能力。

通过中西方脸谱文化讲授、对比，提升学生中西方文化赏析和鉴别能力。

3、情感目标：

培养学生用英语与人交流的习惯和学习英语的兴趣。

提升学生文化素养，陶冶审美情趣。

三、教学过程

Step 1 Warming-up

词组快闪抢答游戏。

round face

long hair

little nose

big eyes

small mouth

sharp teeth

short ears

说到相应的词组时，把对应的图片贴上去出来（像一种拼图的形式）最后出现一只可爱的猫。

T: Is it nice? Is it lovely? S: Yes! T: Wow! How nice! Wow how lovely! (板书)

What do you think of the cat? Can you think of any other words? (学生说的时候老师在黑板上补充) T: Do you like the cat? I like it. What about you? S: I like it, too.(板书呈现)

Step 2 Presentation and practise 随着学生的回答，monkey图片慢慢展现出来。(在课前师把书本上孙悟空图片打出来，上面用东西覆盖，制造悬念，学生回答一个问题就撕掉一部分遮盖物。)师生问答

T: Boys and girls. Look at this. What is it like? S: It’s like a monkey.

T: Why? S: Because it has got …

T: Great! It’s Sun Wukong.

(接上部分板书) S: Wow! How nice/…

I like it.

（2）T: Our friends Li Bing and Mike are also talking about Sun Wukong. Let’s listen carefully and fill in the blanks.

Li Bing: Mike, look at this. What is it like? Mike: Wow, how nice! It has got a small mouth, a small nose and two big eyes. Err… it’s like a monkey. Li Bing: Great! It’s Sun Wukong.

Mike: Sun Wukong? I like it. 核对答案。

（3）听音，跟读。

（4）男女生分角色朗读课文

Step 3 Practice and consolidation (1)师举例对话，做示范。

T: where can you find this sun wukong? in the book? on the TV?京剧？引出Peking Opera.

Now let’s enjoy a part of the Peking Opera. What did you see?

there are many Facial Makeup in Peking Opera. let’s take a look. 出示生旦净末图片。以某图为例，师生示范对话：

T: XX, look at this. What is it like?

S: It’s like a clown.

T: Oh? Why?

S: It has got XXX.

T: Great! It’s Chou. Do you like it? S: Wow, how xx !Chou? I like it. （2）make up the dialogue 生生两人一小组，选取喜欢的京剧脸谱图片进行小组对话，并展示。

Step 4 Extension

T: in western countries people also paint their faces. They call it face painting. they often paint their faces on festivals. I also prepared a short video for you let’s take a look.

(视频定格后)Emm… what is she like?

I have some interesting face painting pictures for you. let’s see what are they like.

师出示各种各样的图片，让学生整体描述。

Homework 1、选择一幅你喜欢的face painting作品，与同桌编一组对话。

2、创作一幅自己的脸谱作品，并向大家描述介绍。
