课题：Unit 3 Care for the Earth 教学目标：

1、能听懂Lets learn more部分的短文，正确理解并能灵活运用 care for、on the earth 、do bad things to、 too many 、

too much等短语；

2、通过对短文的学习，培养学生的快速阅读能力；

3、通过对短文的学习，增强学生的环保意识。

教学重难点：

正确了解too many 、 too much与many 、 much的用法及如何保护地球等知识。

教学准备: 本课图片、磁带、录音机、彩笔、彩纸。

教学过程: 一、

Leading in: i、播放歌曲《You and Me 》. ii、新课导入: 教师展示所准备的地球仪，引导学生观察，从而引出本节课话题：

T: We live on the earth.It is our home .We should care for the “mother earth.”

二：Presentation i、:新课展示：

1、

教师结合短文内容提出问题，然后播放录音，让学生带着问题听短文，了解短文大意。

Question1、What do bad things to our earth? Question2、What should we do? 2、教师再次播放录音，播放完毕后，随机选出几位学生回答上面的问题，检测他们对短文的理解情况。

ii、阅读理解: 教师让学生读课文，找出自己不会的词，之后教师讲解短语：

(1)

care for 关心、爱护；

(2)

do bad things to 对·····做坏事，损坏····；

(3)

教师引导学生观察图片，想一想图中的花、草、人、船等该用many和 much哪个词修饰; (4)

让学生以小组为单位讨论many 、much和too many 、

too much的用法，最后由教师进行汇总概括：

many 加可数名词（books）

许多： 可以与a lot of互换

much 加不可数名词（water）

too many 加可数名词（books）

太多： 与many 、much用法一样

too much 加不可数名词（water）

（5）让学生在课文中找出what should we do? what should not we do?并随机让学生来回答，回答后将应该和不应该干的事情整理到一起，便于学生学习。

四、Homework : 自己亲手设计一副关于环境保护的海报，并挂在教师展览。

小结：

本节主要是要熟读课文，对重点短语要会用，知道too many 、

too much与many 、 tmuch的用法，并能用自己的想法设计有关环保的海报。
