I. Warming-up Review the key sentence patterns of part listen and say. Do you know him? He was Hans Christian Andersen. He was born in 1805 and he died in 1875. He was a famous Danish writer. He was also a clever man. He wrote lots of fairy tales for people, especially for children. People around the world enjoy reading his fairy tales.

II. While-procedures 1.Andersen wrote many famous stories. For example: Little Match Girl, The Little Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling, Thumbelina The Wild Swans, The Snow She likes both the blue one and the pink one.

Work in pairs. Write the dialogue. Role play. Do a survey in groups, then fill in the blanks. Answer the questions. Try to learn the new knowledge.
