Warm-up Greetings T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, teacher.

T: How are you, today? Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And you?

T: I’m fine, too. Thanks.

Free talk ( Show a picture about food and talk about food with students. ) 2.

Presentation First，show a picture of beef. Beef, b-e -e-f, beef.

Second, show beef and water. Ask: if we put the beef into the water, what will it becomes? ( beef soup ) Lead in the word : soup. Soup, s-o-u-p, soup.

Third, show the pictures of beef and soup at the same time and ask: What would you like? I’d like some..., please.( Explain the meaning of the sentences. )

Fourth, show different kinds of soup including the chicken soup to lead in the word chicken. Chicken, c-h-i-c-k-e-n, chicken.

Show one bowl of soup. Ask:What can you see in this soup?( egg, water, vegetable.) lead in the word vegetable. Vegetable, v-e-g-e-t-a-b-l-e, vegetable. Show some vegetables pictures including a picture of noodles. Ask students to choose which is vegetable. Finishing the task, we can lead in the word noodles. Noodles, n-o-o-d-l-e-s, noodles. Show the pictures of chicken vegetables and noodles at the same time and ask:What would you like?

3. Practice

What can you see? Show the pictures of the food quickly and ask students to say the words appeared on the screen. What’s missing ?
