Step1: 设疑自探

1)

Revise the useful expressions that weve learnt before eg ：I am a cat /„ Are you Mr Dog ? Yes , I am. No , I’m„ Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you too. What’s your name ? My name is „ How old are you ? Iet the students try to read the dialogue of page 26, underline the words or sentences they can’t read or don’t understand. （1）What’s the meaning of “not”. （2）Who is the boy? （3）Who is the girl of picture 1? （4）Who is the girl on the chair？ Teacher: OK! Today we will learn Lesson6.Say and recite , find out the answers to the above questions. Step2解疑合探

Listen to the tape and repeat

Let the students try to guess it’s meanings.(the teacher can help them)

Show the new words not”with some body languages (eg: Show a picture of “Mr Duck “,ask and answer. Are you Mr Dog ? No,I’m not. Show a picture of Eve, ask and answer: Are you Lulu?No,I’m not.)Let the

students guess the meaning of “not”.

Teacher acts first,the students follow,and speak it out,then choose some students to act, the other say. 5)
