一、概述:
本节课是PEP小学英语四年级上册Unit 6 Meet my family第五课时,是一节单词课。本节课主要学习cook, driver, farmer,doctor, nurse五个职业单词。继续学习运用句型:What’s your father’s /mother’s…
job? He/She is a …我为学生创设了一个采访的情境,让学生在尽量真实的语境中交流学习。
二、学情分析:
四年级孩子已经学习了一年的英语,通过这一年的观察,孩子们对英语学习有浓厚的性趣,他们活泼好动,爱表演一些英语对话和小故事,对英语学习充满好奇和期待。本节课的内容与孩子的生活实际有紧密的联系,所以这就为孩子的口语交际奠定了基础。
二、教学目标
1、知识与技能目标:
a.通过本节课的学习孩子能听、说、读、写新授单词: cook, driver, farmer,doctor, nurse. b.在语言情境中孩子能灵活运用句型:what’s your father’s/mother’s…
job? He/She
is a ….
2、情感态度:从“They are helpful. Do you want to be a helpful man?”渗透孩子从小要有自己的理想。

3、文化目标:了解各种职业的重要性。
三、教学重、难点
1、重点:掌握5个四会单词。
掌握句型:what’s his/her job ? He/She
is a …. 2、难点:通过创设实际情境,让学生能在相应的情境中准确运用重点句型。
四、教具准备:
1、自制ppt 课件。
2、拓展资源。
五、教学策略:
本课主要以“交际为中心”和“教师为主导,学生为主体”的策略,采用歌曲、游戏、pair work等多种形式,让学生在尽量真实的情境中,乐于开口说英语。
六、教学过程:
Step 1 、Warm-up/Revision 1、
T: Good job! Boys and girls, you did very well just now . Miss Sun is very happy , so I will sing a song for you. (Love my family)老师开个头后,学生可以一起唱。
(设计意图:这首歌曲既是对孩子的良好表现的肯定,同时为下面的内容做了铺垫。) Oh, I love my father, I love my father, I love my family , I really have a happy family. Boys and girls , do you want to have a look?

2、T: Look , this is my family. My family has 7 members, my father , my mother ... How many people are there in your family? Who are they? (找一个学生进行回答。) 3、Pair work. (设计意图:这一部分既是对前面内容的复习,也是为今天所学的内容做好铺垫。)
Step 2 、Presentation
1、T:My family has 7 members and we have different
jobs. You know I’m a teacher. So my job is a teacher.
Now guess :What’s my grandpa’s job? 引出新词farmer. 师领读并板书。
2、师生互问. (What’s
his job?
He is a ...) (设计意图:这里师生互问是机械的操练,为的是在后面的Let’s do 部分,孩子能熟练的运用这句型进行游戏。)
3、PPT出示一大热天的情景,农民头疼的图片,T: Oh, the weather is so hot,
I feel bad.
Now the farmer has a headache, what should he do ? He should see a doctor. 引出“doctor”. 领读。T:If we are healthy, we’ll keep the doctor away. Do you remember the song “An apple a day, keep the doctor away.”师生齐唱。
(设计意图:这部分所设计的歌曲,既可以活跃课堂氛围,
也是让孩子在歌曲中掌握doctor 这个词,让孩子体会到这个单词以前就接触过,
自己都没印象,看看下面还有没有学过的单词,以此来提高孩子的细心程度。)

4、We know the doctor works in the hospital. Look ! This is a hospital, what can you see?引出单词nurse. T: She
often helps the doctor in the hospital.孩子在前一课时接触过了nurse这个单词,所以这个单词孩子学习起来会容易一些。
5、T:Now the farmer is in the hospital, Do you know how did he get here? A taxi driver helped him. 直接呈现出PPT图片
driver. 师领读,并让孩子和自己一起say and do . “Act like a driver”.孩子一边做,一边说“driver, driver , I’m a driver.”
(设计意图:
这部分的设计既是为了更好地掌握driver这个新词,同时也是为后面的Let’s do 做好铺垫。) 6、T: The farmer feel better ,but now he is
hungry , he want to eat some delicious food,
who can make? The cook in the restaurant. 引出单词cook,
I want to be a cook ,because I want to make delicious food for my father, my mother and my son. Do you want to be a cook? 学生进行问答练习。
7、Now the farmer gets well,
He thanks them for helping. He thanked the doctor, the nurse...... (设计意图:这是此故事情景的结束语,但目的是为了让孩子回顾一下都学了哪几个单词。) Step 3、
Let’s do T: Different jobs do different things. Now, act like a farmer. Ss do and say “farmer, farmer, I’m a farmer.”做一两组后,找一个学生到前面去做动

T: What’s his /her job? Ss: He/She is a...接着让学生进行问答练习。
(设计意图:让孩子在游戏中,自然运用所学的重点单词和句型,而不是机械的,无趣的机械操练。)
Step 4、
Let’s say 1、T:You know

job ?What’s your father’s /mother’s job? 2、Pair work. (设计意图:处理本课的重点句型。)
Step 5、Listen and read 1、T: Ok, now let’s meet Sarah’s family? Let’s know their family members’
job? Ss listen and answer the question: What’s her father’s job?
2、Listen and read.(Follow the tape and the teacher.) (设计意图:本部分是处理教材,跟教师读的目的是正音,因为点读机中的发音个别的孩子听不清,还有的发音不是很准确。) Step 6、Let’s say T: There are many jobs , every job is very important .PPT出示图片
The cook makes delicious food for us, the policeman helps the old man, the doctor helps the sick people....Oh, they are helpful(有用的,能帮忙的). Do you want to be a helpful man ?

What are you going to be? Ss answer.
孩子回答完后,师总结:Good job! If you want to be one of them, you must work hard now,
Come on, boys and girls. (设计意图:让孩子畅所欲言,说说自己的理想,让孩子成为课堂的主人,最后,教师所说的话师对孩子是一种无形的激励。)
Step 7、Let’s listen T: Our friend Zip comes. Do you want to know Zip’s father’s job and Zip’s uncle’s job. 学生答完后,T:Ok, now let’s meet his family together. (设计意图:给孩子播放一个与本课内容密切相关的而且是孩子喜欢的flash动画,让孩子带着问题去听,而且这两个问题就是本课的重点句型。)
Step 8、Let’s read T: Here is a passage about Xiao Ming’s family. Let’s read and finish the exercises. (设计意图:给孩子一关于Xiao Ming’s family 的短篇,培养孩子的阅读能力和书写能力,同时也是为孩子能很好完成My family 的作文打下基础。)
Step 9、Let’s talk. T: Boys and girls,
next let’s know something about our classmates’
family, let’s have an interview. (设计意图:师给孩子创设一采访的情景,
同时给孩子一些Key points, 让孩子在尽量真实的语境中灵活运用他们所掌握的知识,进

行言语交际,培养孩子的口语表达能力。)
Step 10、
Enjoy a song
(设计意图:让孩子在欢快的歌曲中结束本节课,同时,也是让孩子巩固一下本节课所讲的重点内容。)
Step 9、Homework 1、回家复习本节课的重点单词和句型,并能会背黑体单词。
