本课的教学材料选自人民教育出版社《义务教育教科书·英语（三年级起点）四年级上册》

Recycle 2 Read aloud (P66)。主要内容为Mike邀请John和Chen Jie到家中共度圣诞节的生活情境。通过Mike的家人与John和Chen Jie的对话情景，让学生在新的语境中复习四、五、六单元的核心句型，并让学生初步感受西方国家过圣诞节的文化习俗。

根据教材所提供的情境开展复习课的教学，先从圣诞节主题的图片和歌曲导入主题，了解相关的圣诞节的背景文化知识。接着通过Mike的家中所进行的圣诞活动的对话来理解情境，并引导模仿对话内容进行表演。在完成表演后，教师通过We can see...和We have...for dinner.的句型来诠释思维导图，并引导学生小组合作制作关于中国春节的思维导图。最后教师引领核心思想，无论中西方两个节日里所见到的和传统的食物有多不同，但有一点是相同的，那就是与家人团聚就是最大的快乐。

一、知识与能力目标

1. 能够在语境中理解新词Father Christmas, turkey和情景

语言Merry Christmas的意思，并能够正确发音；

2. 复习职业单词doctor, cook, farmer, nurse；

3. 复习句型What would you like? I’d like … Help yourself. Would you like some …?并能够运用这些句型征求并表达用餐意愿，提出用餐建议；

1. 了解西方国家过圣诞节的文化习俗，同时感受中国的新年文化；
