二、教材简析：Chinese festivals 是译林版英语五年级下册第七单元的教学内容。本单元第一课时story time 较难，内容较多。我在设计上充分尊重学生的主体性，倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径，在教学过程中通过一些设计将课堂与生活结合。

三、教学目标：

1.能听懂、会读、会说节日单词：the Spring Festival ，the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Double Ninth Festival. 2.能听懂、会读、会说不同节日的传统食物和活动。

3.能正确的理解并朗读课文，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

4.让学生初步了解更多的传统节日，更加热爱中国的传统节日。

四、教学重难点：

1 .能正确的理解和朗读课文，在教师的帮助下尝试复述课文。

2.能听懂、会说、会读四个节日及相关月份的单词拼读。

五、设计理念：

在教学中，主要采用任务型教学和情景式教学相结合。“任务型”课堂教学模式是将英语的教学目标整合到一个或多个具体的活动任务当中，使学生在使用英语完成任务的同时，在不知不觉中学会英语，更主要的是培养学生在完成任务的过程中提高运用英语的学习紧迫感。

六、设计思路：

本节课主要教学内容是学生非常熟悉的中国传统节日，内容丰富且条理性强。本节课从游戏入手，在活跃课堂气氛的同时，激发学生的兴趣。同时引出本节课的主体Chinese festivals。在处理文本时，通过观看动画，听课文录音，学生自由提问，自读课文找到答案等等环节，有浅入深、循序渐进的教授本节课的内容，提高学生的阅读理解能力、总结表达以及解决问题的能力。最后再通过朗读、复述巩固课文内容，通过最后一个环节让学生了解节日的寓意，激励学生继承和发扬传统。
