Unit 3 My father is a writer

一.教学目标:
1、能够听说读写四会单词:a, an, parent(s), actor, worker
能够听说认读三会单词:actress 2、能够听说读写四会句子:He’s an actor. She’s a worker.
能够听说认读三会句子:What does your father do?
What does your mother do? 并能够在具体语境中运用相关句型询问职业,并能够用相关语句回答。
3、能够积极主动地与他人合作,并能够在合作中感受英语学习的乐趣。
4、能够在教师的引导下意识到,要想实现理想,就必须从现在做起,好好学习。
二.学情分析:
我所执教的学生的年龄在十一到十二岁左右,虽然处于小学高年级学段,但仍然活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维和抽象思维相结合,对游戏、竞赛十分感兴趣。大部分学生对英语有着较浓厚的学习兴趣,但也有少数学生由于遇到困难,学习兴趣会随之减弱。所以教师应该面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法,培养学生良好的学习习惯。
三.重点难点:
教学重点:能够在具体语境中运用本课所学的重点词句询问他人的职业,以及回答。
教学难点:he 与
she 的区别用法;actor 与actress 的区别用法;a与an 的区别用法。
四.教学过程:
Step1.Warming up
1、Greeting. 2、Let’s sing an English song
My father is a doctor, my mother is a teacher, they love me so.
My father is a doctor, my mother is a teacher, I love them too.
My uncle is a driver, my
is a teacher, they love me so.
My father is a doctor, my mother is a teacher, I love them too.
Step2.Presentation
(1).Teach the new words: worker, parents
T:Here is a “Happy Family Show” in our class. Let’s welcome No.1 family. Whose family is it?
Ss:This is Miss Feng’s family.
T: Yeah.This is my father, this is my mother. Can you guess, what does my father do?
S1:Is he a driver?
S2:Is he a doctor?
T:No.If you want to know my father’s job, you can ask me: Miss Feng ,Miss Feng ,what does your father do?
Ss:Miss Feng ,Miss Feng ,what does your father do?
T:He is a worker. My father is a worker. How about my mother? Guess.
S1:Is she a teacher?
S2:Is she a nurse?
T:No.Look,my mother is a worker,too.My parents are workers.
Teach the new word:parents,worker.
(2).Teach the new words:actor ,actress
T:No.1 family is so great.Let’s welcome No.2 family.Whose family is it? Let’s watch a video.
Watch the video and answer the questions:
T:What does BuBu’s mother do?
Ss:She is an actress.
Little teacher’s time.
T:If you want to be a teacher, come to the front.
Little teacher teaches the new word:Actress
The students ask some questions, little teacher answers the question. (3).Let’s practice
T:Today , an actress comes to our classroom, who is she?展示杨幂小时候的照片,让他们猜测。
S1:She’s Yang Mi.
T: Is she Yang Mi? Let’s check. 利用希沃白板蒙层功能将杨幂的照片蒙起来,请学生利用橡皮擦将图片擦出来。
T: What does she do? S2:She’s an actress.
(4) .Teach the new word:actor T:Her mother is an actress. What about her father? Let’s ask BuBu.
Ss:BuBu,BuBu,what does your father do?
BuBu: He is an actor.
Little teacher’s time. T:If you want to be a teacher, come to the front. Little teacher teaches the new word:Actor
The students ask some questions, little teacher answers the question.
(5).Let’s practice
T:Today , an actor comes to our classroom, who is he?展示鹿晗小时候的照片,让他们猜测。
S1: He’s Lu Han. T: Is he Lu Han? Let’s check. 利用希沃白板蒙层功能将鹿晗的照片蒙起来,请学生利用橡皮擦将图片擦出来。
T: What does he do? S2:He’s an actor.
(6).Play a game.
T: Just now, we learned some words about jobs. Before, we have learnt some words about jobs, too. Let’s play the game and review the words about jobs.利用希沃白板中的课堂活动功能,男女生各请一名代表到讲台玩单词消消乐的游戏,点击职业类的单词加分,反之扣分。
Step3.Practice (1).Focus on the key sentences. 创设情境。上一部分的最后一个单词是reporter. T: Do you know reporter? 教师戴上帽子,拿出话筒。
T: I am a reporter now. Let’s continue our “Happy Family Show”, this time let’s talk
about your family. I got some photos from our classmates, I will interview some students:
T: What does your mother do?
S1: She is a worker. T: What does your father do?
S1: He is a worker.
T: What does your mother do?
S2: She is a......
T: What does your father do?
S2: He is a...... (2).Practice in pairs:
S1: What does your mother do?
S2:She is a worker.
S1:What does your father do?
S2: He is a worker. Step4.Consolidation (1) Play a guessing game (2) Give a brief summary
Step5.Summary (1) Finish more exercises (2) Enjoy an English song :Be what you wanna be.
