教材与学情分析:

本课的主要内容是Christmas morning重点知识点是四会单词bring, give, open和toys的听说读写的应用,但是本单元开始学生已经接触过这些单词,也达到了能听说读写的程度,因此将本课的重点进行了调整。

教学目标及重难点:

[知识与技能目标] 1、

学生雪会应用give sb. Sth. 和give sth. to sb. 2、

能听说读并理解whisper和Chinese lantern . 3、

学生能够运用所学知识表达自己的真实意愿进行交际。

[情感态度目标]

通过与学生息息相关的有关节日文化的阅读,使学生感受文本内在的魅力,从而吸引孩子们爱英语,爱表达,Love each other. [学习策略目标] 学生通过对文本不同方式的阅读,培养孩子对于语篇教学的阅读策略。

[文化意识目标] 通过在节日期间中西方送礼的不同习俗,让学生初步感知中西方文化的差异。

[教学重点]

学生学会应用give sb. Sth. 和give sth. to sb. [教学难点]:能灵活应用所学知识进行交际。

预习作业:

阅读故事课Maddy’s Christmas ,回答以下问题:

A. What did Maddy give to his family at Christmas? B. Did Maddy buy something for his family? C. Maddy thinks everything is too small. Why?

教学设计:

Ⅰ.Greet and review. A.

常规课堂问候。

T: Hello boys and girls. Ss: Hello Miss Jia. B.

Guess the holidays .通过首字母猜测是哪一个节日。

T: Look! I have some holidays, can you guess, what are these? Team 1 and Team 2, let’s PK. Ss: (Guess the holiday.) 【设计意图】通过猜测节日,复习所学过的节日及日期词汇。通过Team 1和Team 2的PK,激发学生的学习积极性。

Ⅱ.New concepts. A.

Magic.由刘谦的magic引导出本课的主题Today is Christmas , it’s Christmas morning . 从而引出本课的文本。

T: You get all the holidays, let’s give some magic to these holidays, let’s welcome Liu Qian, he always says …time to witness a miracle. Look. Ss: Today is Christmas. It’s Christmas morning! T: Do you like Christmas?

Ss: Yes. T: Yes, we like Christmas, and our friends Li Ming, Jenny and Lynn like Christmas too, what do they do? Let’s read. Now open your books, please read P60 quietly and fill in the blanks. Ss: (Read and fill in the blanks.) T: Let’s read this

dialogue loudly in your little group. I’ll give you 1 minute. 【设计意图】通过魔法既可以吸引学生的注意力,又能引出本课的主题。将课文分为两部分,第一部分主要是以对话为主,将课文的对话摘选出来,以阅读填空的形式初步了解课文的第一部分,既可以锻炼锻炼学生文本阅读的能力。

Read and answer.

T: Let’s think about these questions. 1. Is Jenny speak loudly or quietly? Why you think that? 2. Why is Jenny whisper to Li Ming? 3. Who is Lynn’s Santa? 4. Who is your Santa? 5. Who’s Santa do you want to be?

【设计意图】通过自读课文第一部分,引导孩子动脑自己思考问题,培养学生通过自己的力量解决遇到的问题。在问题的设置上,通过whisper让孩子了解Jenny 对Lynn的关爱,从而引导孩子说出对父母、家人以及朋友的爱。

E. Look at the pictures, then read and answer.

T: Look at these pictures, who are they? Ss: Lynn and Li Ming. T: What do they do? Let’s read P61 and answer these questions. T: What does Lynn do? Ss: She gives Li Ming the gift. T: We also can say, She gives the gift to Li Ming.(同时板书,并领读) T: What does Lynn give to Li Ming?

What does Li Ming do? What does Li Ming give to Mr. and Mrs. Smith?

【设计意图】通过阅读回答问题,引导学生说出give和give to通过自读让学生带着心中的疑问读课文的第二部分,培养学生看图说话和通过自己的能力解决问题的能力。并通过变化句型让孩子自己体会give sb. Sth. 和give sth. to sb.在用法上的区别。

E. 排列顺序。

T: Read and put these sentences in order. I’ll give you 1 minute. 【设计意图】实际上是这篇文章的一个复述,让孩子通过排列顺序来共同复述课文。

F. 中西方礼物的对比。

T: Their Christmas tree will always have something Chinese on it. Do you like Chinese traditional gifts, what do you know? Look I have some Chinese traditional gifts and Western traditional gifts. 【设计意图】让学生了解了中西方礼物的差异。

G. Magic. 通过magic引出另一个节日New Year’s Day . 并引出美国小朋友Tom的故事,通过阅读故事回答问题。

T: Time to witness a miracle. Ss: Today is New Year’s Day. T: I’ll introduce you a new friend. Look. I’ll give you 2 minutes to read and answer these questions. What did Tom’s father and mother give to Tom? What did his family and friends give to them? What did they do in the evening? 【设计意图】锻炼学生语篇阅读的能力,引导孩子模仿,和语言运用的能力。

H. Write and say. T: What’s your favourite holiday ?

What do you want to give to your…? What do you do on that holiday? These are your homework 1. 【设计意图】培养学生运用所学知识的能力。并引导学生说出爱主题。

Ⅲ.Homework.

1、写出你最喜欢的节日,以及在节日里会做得事情。

2、预习作业:

阅读故事课Maddy’s Christmas ,回答以下问题:
