【教学设计说明】

在准备第五单元时，我发现把本单元的课文和写作部分结合，能很好地体现高中阶段对学生写作能力的基本要求：能清楚地讲述一件事，因此，我在讲课文的时候就没有提及写作结构上的要求，在课文都处理结束之后，我以写中文信的结构入手，要学生思考英语的信是不是也应该有相同的结构和礼貌用语的要求。

本节课的重点是留出时间，让学生自己写一封信，清楚地表达自己的写信的目的和期望得到的帮助，难点在于如何帮助学生修改自己的作品。

在平时的教学中，像这样给学生专门留出时间来写作的机会并不多，更多的则是在阅读教学阶段针对课文结构引导学生去思考自己写作应该怎样安排文章内容。
