一．说教材。

Lesson 15 是冀教版七年级上册的第三单元的第三课。在这一单元，学生们将学会怎样用英语表达他们的感受，也将谈论他们的 heights和如何see the docter. In Lesson 15，学生们将要学习怎样询问和描述their heights并将学会正确使用两组反义词: tall /short ， up/down .本课的话题贴近学生生活，易于操练，通过问答、对话等形式反复操练，课堂效果应该不错。

二．说学生。

学生们对数字的掌握还行，他们对身高的谈论话题一定感兴趣。

三．说教法。

借助多媒体，从听说读写各个方面对学生进行训练。独学，对学，群学相结合，针对学习目标，对学生进行反复操练。尽量多多使用课堂用语，让学生慢慢听懂课堂指令。

四．说重难点和教学准备。

Step Three: Have the Ss learn about how to read the measurement. Step Four:Show some pictures and remember the new words together. Step Five:Listening. 1.Have Ss complete Let’s Do It! 1 after they listen to the tape carefully. 2.Work in groups, practice ：

How tall are you? I am … metres tall. How tall is he /she? ? He /She is … metres tall.

3.Complete the table, then write a report. Step Six:Let’s chant. Play the tape several times while Ss following. Step Seven:Dig in. Step Eight:Practice. Step Nine:Summary.
