●I can’t do your homework, but I can make noodles for you . 我不会做你的作业，但我会为你做面条。

1. do one’s homework 意为：“做某人的作业” ，

make noodles for sb.意为：“为某人做面条”

2. but 是一个转折连词，用来连接两个并列成分或两个并列分句，意为“但是，然而”。

注意：but不能与though/although连用。
