教材分析：

本课教材给学生提供的素材是李明介绍众多中国节日，以及在节日中的活动，目的是让学生了解传统的中国节日，题材贴近生活，很适合学生们积极参与，热烈讨论。本节课我强调英语课程要从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发，倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径，发展学生的综合语言运用能力。

设计理念：

该课教学以听说训练为主线，通过唱、看、听、说、演练等一系列教学活动，使学生不仅获得本课的英语知识，并在教学中充分激发学生强烈的学习愿望，在注重学生知识能力发展的同时，特别强调突出教学的人文意义而非只专注于知识与技能的学习，将情感教育巧妙地融入到教学中，将英语回归生活，使二者之间产生“互动效应”，增添课堂文化意识，使学生得到启智怡情的作用。

设计特色：

强调学生自主探究学习，培养学生开创性学英语的习惯。如：自己通过阅读归纳in\on\at的用法，了解短语go swimming等。多次利用“小组合作”

来调动学生积极性。突出教学的人文意义而非只专注于知识与技能的学习。

Step2: Warming up 1. sing the song “Happy New Year” together (设计意图：创设情境，

唱英文歌曲，边唱边表演，使学生在轻松快乐中进入英语课状态) 2. show some pictures and ask:“What festival is it in the picture ?”

then teach the word “festival ”,at the same time introduce the differences of the two words: “festival”and“holiday”。 (设计意图：通过教授两个单词“festival”和“holiday”，自然导入本课内容：Holidays) Step3:Teaching steps Step ①： Show some slides ,let the students answer : what is the festival in the picture ? The students can answer the questions freely. After that, teach the new words in this text. (设计意图：设计各种中国节日的图片，学生在抢答过程中既复习旧单词，又接触到本课的新单词，为学习本课又做了一次铺垫。

由于这些图片都是简单明了，直观易懂的，因此学生学习情绪会很高涨。) Step ②： listen to part1 and fill in the blanks with the missing words ,then match the holidays and dates (设计意图：根据“听说领先“的教学理念

以“听”的方式，整体感知课文，整体输入知识) Step③：Listen first and then let the students read the text and fill in the blanks .After that , the teacher can teach some phrases:

go mountain climbing, go swimming , go skating ,etc. （设计意图：在先听的基础上，再次利用读来整体感知材料

，学生就自然而然的投入到英语整体学习中来。) Step④：Read Part2 together (read in pairs or in lines) (设计意图：把空填好后，让学生齐读，以读的形式再次感知通篇文章，加深正确的知识在学生大脑中的印象)

Step⑤：Show the language points. Let the students read them alone and fill in the blanks below。(设计意图：通过练习使学生真正掌握三个表示时间的介词用法) Exercise：

Mr. Green came to China ____ 2014. 格林先生在2014年来到了中国。

The English class begins _____ 8 o'clock in the morning. 英语课在早上8点开始。

Step⑥：Work in pairs: let the students talk with the partners. topic: What do you like to do during the holidays? Show them an example: A: What do you like to do during the Spring Festival? B: I like to visit my grandparents and play with my cousins. A: ….

(设计意图：“授人与鱼不如授人与渔”将知识完全展现给学生，让学生学会从例句中归纳拓展思维，结合自身生活体会中国节日，从而培养学生的说英语的能力) Step⑦：Act out the dialogues in front of the class. （设计意图：培养了学生讲英语和灵活运用英语来表达自己感受的能力。) Step⑧: Exercises : write the answers on the paper and ask every group to show their answers(设计意图：在独学群学的基础上，及时进行达标检测，同时以小组为单位评价，使各组之间展开竞争，既培养了学生的竞争意识、集体荣誉感，又培养了学生的合作意识，提高了英语学习的兴趣。) Step⑨：Homework: Make up a short dialogue about the topic: 1)Which holiday do you like best? 2)What do you like to do on that holiday?

教学反思：

本课以“holidays”为中心，介绍了holidays in China ,在教学过程中，本教学设计力图将听说领先作为突出特色，口语训练和表演作为本节英语课的主要手段，从而调动学生的积极性，在教学过程中，充分利用“小组活动”，经过独学、对学、群学、展示、达标检测几个环节，反复再现本课知识，同时，本课加强了“爱国主义”的教育，把对节日的认识融入到现实生活中来，将情感教育巧妙地融入到教学中，将英语回归生活，使二者之间产生“互动效应”，增添课堂文化意识，使学生得到启智怡情的作用。
