Unit 4 In the park The first period 一、Learning Aims:

1、Using the modal verb ‘can’to express abilities.

e.g.I can climb. 2、Use verbs to indicate momentary actions. e.g.I can skip/walk/climb/swing/fly/ride. 3、Asking ‘Wh-’questions to find out particular information about a person. e.g. What can you do? 4、Pronounce words properly. 5、Use modelled phrases to open and maintain an interaction by providing information in response to factual questions. 二、Important & difficult points 1、3 skill words, and order sentences. 4、Pronunciation. 5、Using the words & sentences in the life. 三、Teaching Steps:

1、Lead-in Sing the song : I can ... .(1B) Teacher asks:What can you do? Students answer:I can ... .

Let students to review the knowledges we have learned. 2、Presentation A、Show a picture about the park. T: What do you see in the park? Review the words we have learned.Pay attention to pronunciation. Learn the words about sport, and use them in the sentences. Listen and do. B、Let’s talk a、show the activity pictures and say: I can ... . Ask students:What can you do? Ask and answer: A-B B-C 3、Activities a、Pair work:using the new sentences to practice. b、communicate in groups. c、show the talk to other students. 4、Homework Read after the tape for fluently.
