Unit 5

What is the weather like today ?

第一课时

教学目标：

1.知识目标

(1)使学生能听、说、读、写词汇sunny.windy, cloudy, rainy, snowy, weather report。

(2)能将所学其短语替换到句型What is the weather like today?中进行灵活运用。

2、能力目标: 能根据本课新词组,流利的进行口语交流。

3、情感目标:激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立学习英语的自信心,培养学生的合作交流能力。

教学重、难点：

1.将所学词汇达到四会,并能放入简单的句型中进行灵活运用。

2.培养学生合作学习的能力,同时注意培养学生学习英语的兴趣, 树立自信心。

教学过程：

Step1：Leading in.

1.Greetings 2.师生问答: ①Do you like to watch TV?

Now,

let’s watch TV together.(播放天气预报视频) ②Do you know what program it is ? 在此,学生可以用汉语回答出

天气预报,教师进行weather report 的教授。

Look out of the window. What’s the weather like today?引出课题。

讲解What’s the weather like today？中like 的含义及这句话的含义。

Step 2: Presentation. Part A

Let’s learn. 1.教授新单词sunny。

教师承接上面的对话，询问：What’s the weather like today？引出sunny。教师板书，并渗入音标，教学单词。师生问答：

T:What’s the weather like today? Ss:It’s …

以同样的方式教授windy , cloudy, snowy。

课件播放下雨的音频，教师引导学生听音辨别天气。课件呈现下雨视频，引入rainy。教师教授并引导学生操练rainy。

教师播放本部分录音，学生模仿其语音语调跟读词汇。

教师出示Let’s learn部分的单词卡片，学生抢读，分组读，操练词汇。

Step 3: Pratice. 1.教师出示天气预报图片，引导学生借助：What is the weather like in …?It is…来对其中五个城市天气进行问答练习。

(告诉学生要问具体的某个城市的天气时,用What is the weather like in …后面加地点)

Let’s sing. 课件播放What is the weather like today?歌曲，学生跟唱，熟练后加上肢体动作。

3.交际指南。

Step4：Homework Watch the weather report on TV , and talk about the weather.
