教材分析: 本课属于人教版pep英语五年级下册第四单元，本单元共需六课时，本节是第四课时。主要是让学生1．能掌握四会句子：When is your birthday? My birthday is on.... What will you do for your mum? I'll cook noodles for her.并能在实际生活中运用。[2．能听懂会说句子：

Please come then. We can have a birthday party for both of you! 在课堂教学中，教师要使教学内容生活化，从学生的日常生活出发，结合学生实际情况，使学生口语练习生活化、交际化，达到学以致用的目的。

设计理念：

在跨越式理念指导下，

以言语交际为中心，借助现代信息技术，努力为学生创设理想的英语学习环境，提供丰富的网络资源，倡导体验、实践、参与、交流与合作的学习方法。倡导任务型教学，把语言综合运用能力的培养落实在教学过程中。面向全体学生，突出“以人为本”的素质教育理想，使语言教学的过程同时成为提高人文素养、增强实践能力、培养创新精神的过程。

学情分析：

五年级学生参加跨越式教学已经有两年多了，他们已经适应了跨越式课堂模式，听说能力都比较强。乐于感知，模仿习得英语。所以本节课巩固旧知的同时进一步拓展与话题有关的更多知识，来满足学生对知识的所需。

教学策略：

五年级学生学习英语也有一段时间了，大部分学生基本上具备了读与说的能力，因此在教学过程中采用语言交际的教学策略，通过角色扮演、情景创设、教室内真实的辅助性教学资源提供等，多种方式，激发学生学习积极性，帮助学生领会对话内容，提高学生的语言交际能力。

教学目标：

1：知识目标：

1) 能掌握四会句子：When is your birthday? My birthday is on …. What will you do for your mum? I'll cook noodles for her.并能在实际生活中运用。[www&.z%zstep~*.c@om]

2) 能听懂会说句子：Please come then. We can have a birthday party for both of you! 2：能力目标：能通过听读练习，结合主题When is Easter 展开对话，并尝试模仿情景自编对话。

3：情感目标：结合实际生活，创设真实情境，引导学生关注生活，激发学习兴趣和热

情，提高学习的积极性和主动性；增长课外知识，激发学习热情。

教学重难点：

教学重点：

能运用句子When is your birthday? My birthday is on…来了解对方的生日。

教学难点：

(1) 掌握其他表达生日的句子，如：That's my mother’s birthday，too!

(2)正确理解Please come then.和We can have a birthday party for both of you!等句子的意思。

教具准备：

1．教师自制PPT。

2．跨越式课题组提供的拓展资源。

教学过程：

一

：热身／复习（Warm-up/Revision）(5minutes) 1：Listen a song. 播放歌曲《When is your birthday ?》。

(设计意图：让学生唱熟悉的歌曲，既能激发学生的兴趣，又能营造英语氛围帮助学生进入学习英语的环境中。) 2：出示PPT，复习上节课所学内容。

Key point :

When is …? It’s on…

Practise in pairs.

One or two students show us. (设计意图：此处的复习，一是实现对以前学习内容的灵活运用，拉近师生间的距离；二为新知的教学打下基础,降低新授说的难度。)

二：

呈现新课

（Presentation）(12minutes)

1：教师问Do you love your mum? 教师继续说：

I have two questions for you, children. When is your mother’s birthday? What will you do for your mother’s birthday? 帮助学生回答。

2: 教师播放Let’s talk 板块的动画视频，学生观看并模仿跟读，注意语音和语调。

3: 引导学生理解重点句型：That's my mother’s birthday，too! Please come then.和We can have a birthday party for both of you!

4：再次观看，学生在观看的过程中试着模仿，鼓励学生边看边说。

5：学生打开课本自主阅读，并引导学生回答问题1:When is Chenjie’s mother’s birthday ?What will Chen Jie do for her mother on April 4th? Does Mike like Chinese noodles? Why?

6：师生互动，学生在真实的环境中展开俩俩练习对话进行交流。

A: I’ll…Please come then .We can have a birthday party for both of you .

7：俩俩练习对话，然后上台表演。

三：Extending reading (12minutes) 第一篇: 听对话回答问题：1: How old is monkey ? 2: When is his birthday ? 第二篇：内容在PPT上展示，在巩固本课所学知识的同时，学习生日的另一种表达方式。（My birthday is on Children’s Day /China’s nation Day/…

）

第三篇：教师出示对话，拓展与本课相关的词组：make a wish ,blow out ,cut the cake, a glass of water. 并自主朗读对话，加强学生对句型What do you usually do on…? I usually …的运用。

（设计意图:让学生听读与课本内容相关的知识，大信息量输入，丰富学生的语言，在语境中体会、理解新知。培养学生自主听读的能力及语感。通过听后反馈信息，在交流中进一步学习拓展句型。）
