教学设计

一、教学目标：

（1）能使学生听、说、读、写单词：holiday, Christmas, Christmas tree, lights, song认读Western, special, Santa… 和日常用语：Merry Christmas! Have fun together!

（2）能使学生通过小组合作和互相交流来完成教学任务，

（3）能使学生了解中西文化差异，有礼貌的和他人进行交流。

教学重点：四会单词和日常用语

教学难点：理解本课课文内容

二、教学过程：

Step 1 Class opening and review

（1）Greeting T: Hello, boys and girls! S: Hello, Miss Chen! T: Nice to meet you! S: Nice to meet you, too! Let’s play a game, OK?

（2）Play a game “What holiday is it?”出示图片，提问“What holiday is it?”，并说出具体日期。

（复习节日，引出holiday一词）

Step 2 New concepts

（1）Free talk

I like Spring Festival, because I can stay at home. What do you like? Do you like Children’s Day? Why? In Western countries, there is an important holiday in winter. It’ on December 25th. Do you know? Can you guess? 课件展示，学生能大概猜出这个节日名称---圣诞节，

“Christmas”。利用课件或实物呈现本课涉及的单词, Christmas tree, lights, song, Santa，学习本课的四会单词。可以适当提出一些问题，What colour is the Christmas tree? Can you sing a song? Do you like Santa? 等。（通过实物直接呈现，便于学生清楚的记忆，而且把所学融入句中）

（2）结合幻灯片，讨论中国节日春节和圣诞节的异同。如：食物（dumplings, turkey）、风俗(invite family and friends, bring gifts, sing songs)、祝福语等，引出Merry Christmas! （结合图片，学习和圣诞节有关的习俗，锻炼学生口语表达、思维）

（3）Listen to the tape and answer the questions 1. What is Christmas? 2. When is Christmas? 3. Who is Santa? 4. What colour are Santa’s clothes? （检查学生对课文的理解程度）

Step 3 Practice

1. 自编chant,巩固所学知识

2. 简单的描述圣诞节,给出提示，小组共同完成

2. Homework: draw sth about Christmas and introduce it to your family and friends.
