一、教学目标

Teaching aims and learning objectives: By the end of this lesson, the students should be able to : 1.

Understand the whole story 2.

Get to know some new expressions about behaviors. 3.

Improve creative and critical thinking ability. 4.

Understand the moral of the story. 二、教学重难点

Focus of the lesson : 1.

Understand the story. 2.

Understand the moral of the story. Predicted area of difficulty: Improving creative thinking and critical thinking ability by guessing, predicting and imagine “How do we behave in public?”

三、教学过程：

Teaching procedures : Step 1. To tune pupils into English. (1). Teacher /pupils greet each other. (2). Pupils sing a song. (3). Non—stop talking. (Name, Color, Place )

(设计意图) 让学生进入学习英语的状态中，连续说词环节为引入故事做铺垫，并加强学习学习策略的引导。

Step 2. To help pupils understand what lesson will be about, and set behavior goals for the lesson. (1). Teacher tell pupils what they are going to do. (2). Teacher set behavior goals for the day: a. Work in groups b. Help each other. （设计意图）让学生提前感知本课内容，做好小组合作的准备。

Step 3. Talking about the story. (1)

. The first part of the story .( picture1 and picture 2) T: Wow! They are at the cinema. Look, a giant gorilla. Amazing, right? Read the word “gorilla” three times. Then imitate the sentences.

(设计意图) 突破生单词，创设在电影院中的情境，使得学生们体会到Zoom 和Zip 的心情——happy. (2)

.The second part of the story. (picture 3 and picture 4) a.

Make the sound “crunch,crunch”. Teacher asks pupils——what’s that sound? Pupils answers ：It’s Zoom eating popcorn. T: Do you want to hear that? Pupils : No, I don’t want to. b.

Imitate Zip to say “It’s so exciting!” as loud as possible. Observe the rabbit, teacher asks “How does the rabbit feel? Is she happy?” Pupil 1: No, she is sad. Pupil 2: I think she is very angry.

Teacher asks all the pupils : Why is the rabbit so angry? Pupils talks in groups and answers. (设计意图) 通过情节的展开逐步引导学生观察到各位“观众”情绪的变化。再让学生以小组讨论的方式自己找出原因。从而深层次地理解故事内容。

. The last part of the story. (picture 5 and picture 6) a.

Pupils read the last part by themselves and act in their own way. b.

Teacher asks pupils : Are Zoom and Zip happy in the end?——No, they are sad. （设计意图）让学生自主感知结尾，模仿老虎的台词并揣测Zoom 和Zip 最后的心理活动。

. Check the answers. Teacher throws out three questions : a.

When Zoom and Zip walk in the cinema, how do they feel? b.

How does the rabbit feel? What about the tiger? c.

At the end of the story, Zoom and Zip are sad, why is that? Pupils read the story again and discuss in groups. d.

According to the mind map, retell the story. (设计意图)根据思维导图引导学生重读故事并得出结论——bad behaviors make everyone unhappy.

Step 4. Consolidation and Extension. a.

T:There are many other bad behaviors in our life. Seeing these, what

do you feel? (Show the pictures.) Pupils: I feel bad/ angry/ ashamed ........... b.

So what do you want to say to them? Pupils write down their cards and put on the blackboard.

(设计意图) 学习联系生活，引导学生们发现生活中不好的行为，并杜绝不良现象的发生。提高学生们的素质和文明意识。
