学习说明过去的人物形态特征，对过去与现在进行比较。

单词：young old beautiful who grandparent was were

句子：He was young then. He wasn't old then. He were young then. He weren't old then.

教学过程：

一．复习形容词

方法：TPR

(找一名有头花的女孩子到前面来)

T: I am tall. She is ___.引导同学说出short. 用手指女孩子的头花, look at her flower, It is very beautiful.

板书并新授单词: beautiful

方法: 拼读, 拍手读, 引导学生造句子.

二、新授单词与句子

教师用自己的头花放到三个女孩子的头上，

问: Is she beautiful?放到一个男孩子的头上，

问: Is he beautiful? 放到图片姚明的头上，问：Is he beautiful?

T： Who is he?(板书who 谁)

S：

He is Yao Ming.

T: What's he like?

S: He is tall. thin. .......

(姚明的图片背面是姚明小时候的图片)

T：

（姚明小时候的图片) Who is he?

S ：（

提示同学猜测

）Yao Ming

T: He is Yao Ming. He was four. He is tall now, then he was___(引导学生说出short)

板书：He was short. 用姚明的两张相片来教授并操练句子He was short. /He was fat. 并让学生大量的听教师说过去与现在的比较he is -------he was

出示赵本山小时候的相片，引导学生猜测Who is he?

T: Look at his hair. His hair is white.Now he is very old. Then he was young.(把板书的short擦去换成young, 并操练句子he was young.)用TPR的方法强化单词young---old

板书He wasn't old. (新授并操练句子，用游戏来强化wasn't)

用姚明的图片来操练He wasn't tall. He wasn't thin.

(出示图片爷爷奶奶)

T：Who are they? grandpa and grandma , they are grandparents.(板书grandparent并操练，强调两个人用复数，词末加Ｓ)

T: Who are they? What are they like?

S: they are old.

T: They were young.(板书句子并教授，操练)

T: They weren't old.(板书句子并教授，操练)

(把赵本山和奶奶年轻时的相片贴到板书前面)

T: They were young then.They weren't old then. He was young then. He wasn't old then.

(教师把板书then补在四个板书上的句子后面，在第一个then的上面写出意思－－在那时，并让学生操练then)

T: was , were 真奇怪，谈论过去才出现，否定就加n't，wasn't wasn't weren't.(教师教授学生自编的chant)

T: Look at the screen.出示课文ＶＣＤ
