PPT, word cards, pictures.

Teaching procedures: Step I: Lead in. Listen and do. Let students take out the pencil box, bag ,pen ,and book on the desk. Then the teacher says: Show me your pencils. The students put up the pencils and read it. Practise other stationery words in the same way. Step II:Presentation. (1)

The teacher takes out the pencil box and says: This is my pencil box. Then the teacher hid the pencil box quietly. Asks: Where is my pencil box? And help the students understand the meaning of the sentence with my facial expressions. (2)

The teacher hid own English book and asks: Where is my English book? (3)

Teach the sentence:“Where is ……”and write down on the blackboard. (4)

Show the main scene , listen to the tape carefully and guess what’s the meaning of the scene. And write down the important words and sentences. (5)

Let’s talk. Play the tape for the first time,the students just listen and understand the meaning of the conversation. (6)

Play the second time, the students read after it one by one.
