本单元谈论生活目标（Life goals)，这是学生感兴趣的话题通过使用be going to do sth.让他们充分谈论对未来的打算给他们一个树立自己生活目标，展示自我观点的机会从而也激发他们的学习热情让他们不但对未来有美好的憧憬，而且要从现在做起为自己的理想而努力学习。一些学生由于以前不努力，造成基础知识欠缺的现象，所以在教学中要鼓励他们的学习自信心和激发他们的学习热情。要让他们明白，学习要有恒心、有毅力。

情感目标：

每个人都有自己的梦想和对未来的打算通过谈论理想的职业和怎样实现自己的理想，初步了解学生的择业观，引导学生树立健康积极的生活目标，使学生懂得有梦想才会让生活变得更加美好。

Talk about dream job by watching a video and study the new word “London”.

Learn the new “college” by talking about future intentions with what,

how, where, when freely. Lead out the key sentences and practice. a. What do you want to be when you grow up? b. How are you going to do that? c. Where are you going to work? d. When are you going to start? Step 5 Presentation Teach the new words and phrases by showing the pictures. Teach the students the pronunciations of the new words and how to use them by making up sentences. Step 6 Let’s review the new words.

Review the new words by a short passage (If you want to get higher education, you’d better go to college or university. You can study computer science, medicine and so on. London is a beautiful city. You can go there to study.). Step 7 Practice the conversations with the pictures. Step 8 Grammar Focus

Read Grammar Focus together and sum up the main sentence structures. And help students to summarize how to use be going to do sth. Step 9
